Nice, I'll need to try this out to decide if I get it or not.

Never played the fighting games, but the game looks good.

This, Infinite Wealth and Rebirth...I'm so gonna get tired of JRPGs :messenger_tears_of_joy:

That's nice. Not going to stay up late for this, so will try in the morning. Going to be annoying dusting and booting up the PS4 -_-

Demo is live in NZ PSN.

got a short tutorial. a story mode mission that's about 20-30 mins and then 3 missions that can be done in coop as well. You also have access to 12 characters to play with in the demo in quest mode.

Other than that the game has quality (4K 30fps) and performance (1080p 60fps) modes. Motion blur can be turned off, thank god....

Here is some PS5 gameplay of both modes.

Buying this on PC but I'm happy to be able to try a demo beforehand. Hope it turns out to be good, both in gameplay and PC port.

I can’t believe it. I’ve waited for this game since the previews dropped at Granblue Fes in 2017.

I finally get to play the demo and .. I didn’t like it. The original previews made the combat look awesome and deliberate. Now it just feels like… multiplayer genshin impact with particles and shit flying all over the place and an overly button mashy. UI is crap too. Way too much on the screen.

This has gone from day zero to a deep discount on pc at some point maybe. Man. My disappointment is immeasurable.

wow can't believe this runs at 1080p on PS5. All this time and they can't do 4K / 60 fps on PS5? I guess the target console was the PS4...

Same exact impression here. I started to realize what direction it was going at the end of last year though fortunately so my disappoint was more measured lol

I played the demo on the PS4. I know it's a demo but the game ran great with a smooth framerate and the game looks beautiful

My issues are with the gameplay and UI. Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed this game but it's nothing special

Only played one co-op mission online, half asleep, but I’m sold on the game. Going to try the story mode demo and other co-op missions tomorrow.

My only complaints so far would be universal to console gaming in general. Hopefully the PC version delivers.

I haven’t played it much but I didn’t really like it. I don’t like these types of characters. And the image looks soft at 1080p on PS5 which isn’t good enough for me. I won’t play this game at 30fps so the 4k mode is a no go for me.

Will be picking this up for sure. A lot of the other playable characters appeal to me so I'm down. Only disappointment is it being 1080p in performance mode, It doesn't look THAT good enough to justify that.

I decided give the demo a spin (I originally wasn’t going to) and I definitely digging the combat a lot and curious about how other character’s combat style. I also loooooooove it’s rendering style for the visuals…..the art style looks fantastic!

well worth the wait…..now the issues comes that Persona 3 comes out the next day after this game…..fuck me there too many games.

I like what I've played of the demo when it comes to great combat and visuals, but I just can't stand this kind of storytelling with overly righteous, stupidly good, one note and generic types of characters and dialogues.... ugh, my god. I mean, it's not bad... if you're like 12-15 yrs old, but if you're almost 40 and played hundreds of games in the last 35+ years.... I guess I'm not really into that kind of storytelling anymore and want somethimg more mature.... Idk.

After waiting so long for this, I feel quite mixed after the demo. Game looks nice, and there can be some fun in the battles, but overall something felt off. I can’t really put my finger on it but it wasn’t what I had been hoping for. It’s not terrible but also not something special from what I played. I expect the game will drop in price quickly. I’ll pick it up when that happens but sadly my expectations have dropped a lot from this demo.

Definitely feels like all the other Tales games I've played, but I mean that in a good way. Doesn't feel completely like a generic hack-and-slash RPG that's come out of Japan for a while, but it's in the similar vein. I enjoyed what I played of it, which is good since I've been waiting for this game since it was announced. I do feel like, though, this will be at it's best doing the harder boss fights with 4 people playing. Looking forward to see what the full game will be like.
