No Harrison Ford as voice over?

Or they would have a gender confused "female" kill indy in 10 minutes of gameplay and become the new protagonist in an exciting tale of redemption showing that in fact they/them are the real hero overcoming a troubled past ... throw some pregnant fighting lady and another main gay character for maximum award gathering.I'm convinced Naughty Dog is the ONLY dev that would have done this game justice.
The animations, art style, graphics, lighting, character models, etc. in Uncharted 4 still look leagues above any game out this gen.
Then your conclusion should be simple - Don't buy the game or wait for the bargain bin. Problem solved.
Console warring? Didn't we hear from Sateh Nutella that Microsoft's games will be released for every platform under the sun?
You’re right they should have just reskinned uncharted/ac/ghost recon/horizon/last of us would have been so much better…… but we all know this game is shit based on the 2 mins of gameplay……im saying by your own logic a studio that can't make something in the same genre as another game and make it different probably lacks the talent yes. You are proclaiming that it is impossible for machine games to make a 3rd person game and not make it, copy/paste the exact same as uncharted. which is just nonsense
we don't know with MachineGames Indy because they decided to just make another wolfenstein game.
why are you pretending like we haven't seen the first person gameplay already and that it doesn't already look entirely like Wolfenstein with a new skin? what FPS innovation did you see in that gameplay? the whip? it's just a grapple mechanic that we've seen in plenty other titles already from Grappling hooks to tetherbeams. I see more potential for an indy game that's an adventure game than just another FPS, and so do many others.
there's nothing dumb with people hoping an indy game would be an indy game and a bit more ambitious.
Just look at that action sequence from Uncharted 4. The exhilaration of such a moment would be impossible to recreate using 1st person perspective. A 3rd person view is the closest you can get to the feeling you're playing an interactive movie. That's what you would want from a game based on the three classic Indy movies - but you're going to get a completely different experience in a first person perspective. It's the dumbest decision ever.
Excuse me, but you’re wrong… It must be a 3rd person horde shooter to be good.. with a sprinkle of rpg mechanics….This game already looks a lot better and with a more "Indiana Jones / Tomb Raider" feel/atmosphere (and also contemporary) than I feared it would. Bonus. Good times.

Since when did anyone who said they wanted a third person IJ say they want it to be a horde shooter or have RPG mechanics?

Sorry, i wasn't here for the full thread - Happens overnight, so i am asleep. This is exactly the conclusion that people had that led you into a pissed tirade.
Sorry, i wasn't here for the full thread - Happens overnight, so i am asleep.
I am also not in a pissed tirade - Assumptions, assumptions.
Where are the assumptions? That's what I want.So many assumptions in one sentence! Only low intelligence individuals are fixated about Metacritic scores. We will know what people who actually play games think about this new Indiana Jones as it's releasing on Steam.
Where are the assumptions? That's what I want.
Anyway, now that you have seen this trailer and Machine Games' first-person approach to Indiana Jones, do you think it's going to be better than and score higher than Uncharted 4? Yes or No?
I sure do like chicken nuggets. Here is my assumption. Any negativity directed at this game will be hand-waved away as assumption because well, you like chicken nuggets.
Different user. I did indeed like chicken nuggets, but the person you are quoting is referring to someone else.He already said he likes eating chicken nuggets at his desk and posted a list of first-person supporting examples that included Quake.
Don't go there
I doubt it will score as high as Uncharted 4. Even if it was 3P camera I doubt it would have scored that high either.Where are the assumptions? That's what I want.

Because if your answer is no, that means this approach isn't as good as you're portraying. And a 3P camera, like many others are saying and whom you're mocking, would actually be better.
I sure do like chicken nuggets.
But indeed, lets focus on the positive things of this game. Glad that for once we have a user sticking it up for the better side of life instead of going for the status quo of constantly being negative on anything ever in gaming. Good for you Blacktron. Good for you.

Just stick with trying to be somewhat positive from the onset. Helps not to get dragged down around these waters.Being either constantly positive or constantly negative would make me feel sick from being inauthentic.
There you go! You want one? Seems we have gone full circle here. But I'm happy for your world of sunshine and chicken nuggets
I agree with both these things. It won't score as high because there are several other issues in the game - apart from the camera perspective. And it doesn't have to have a score of 93 to be a good game.I doubt it will score as high as Uncharted 4. Even if it was 3P camera I doubt it would have scored that high either.
Not scoring as high as Uncharted 4 does not make it a bad game or even a failure.
Seems we have gone full circle here.
One might say, a Great Circle even.
2.5 million copies sold is not a flopBoth of them flopped despite EAs solid push behind the first one
Mate you are twisting words to be cool and internet edgy and in turn actually making fun of the person you think you are defending. You’re right they should have just reskinned uncharted/ac/ghost recon/horizon/last of us would have been so much better…… but we all know this game is shit based on the 2 mins of gameplay……
Ambition = 3rd person lol
Edit..
Whoops forgot tomb raider
Exactly. I don't know where this argument is coming from that a 3P person game must be a copy Uncharted.Mate you are twisting words to be cool and internet edgy and in turn actually making fun of the person you think you are defending.
my whole point is that you can make an adventure game and 3rd person without it being a literal copy of uncharted.... do you lack any sort of imagination. can you also not tell the difference between a ghost recon game and an Uncharted game?
no one said ambition = 3rd person, so i guess "lol" at your reading comprehension.
What world can you say my imagination is lacking while bitching because a game is first person instead of 3rd…. The irony….Mate you are twisting words to be cool and internet edgy and in turn actually making fun of the person you think you are defending.

do you even pretend to read something anyone says or do you just skim two words and design an entire response around that. What world can you say my imagination is lacking while bitching because a game is first person instead of 3rd…. The irony….
Correct, so a lot of the criticism for this game on this forum is likely console warring. Especially given how hostile it has become here for anything Xbox related. Obviously I'm not suggesting that any criticism is unwarranted, just that quite a bit of it is suspect.
The same goes for any Sony exclusives as well, but the forum is quite a bit more pro Sony so you do see less of it. At least here, Twitter is a cesspool as always.
I think we know why these sorts of comments and responses exist...Exactly. I don't know where this argument is coming from that a 3P person game must be a copy Uncharted.
Why couldn't Machine Games make it different?
It is like saying Halo, Doom, and Quake can't exist because Call of Duty is a thing. And Sony must not make Concord a first-person game because Call of Duty and Destiny are already first-person games. And they better not make Concord a third-person game either, because Division, Warframe, and Helldivers exist.
Ahhh so your whole problem isn’t that the game is 1st person instead of 3rd?.do you even pretend to read something anyone says or do you just skim two words and design an entire response around that.
There's a few saying it shouldn't be 3rd person because of the uncharted comparisons but isn't uncharted literally the perfect template for an Indiana Jones game? It would have been great for xbox to have its own uncharted style game. Such a washed opportunity. Should have known Microsoft would fuck it up. Out of all the studios, they fucking give it to machine games? For the love of god Microsoft, can you do anything right?
to even counter those further i'd say it's not entirely what i'd want an Indy template to be either. Drake is a murdering psychopath who is ridiculously indestructible and superbly athletic... Indy kind of falls into spectacle and even then he's not some superhero, he just really wants to save the artifact and stop it from getting into the wrong hands. (and that's if we disregard the temple of doom altogether)There's a few saying it shouldn't be 3rd person because of the uncharted comparisons but isn't uncharted literally the perfect template for an Indiana Jones game? so yes, you don't have reading comprehension skills.Ahhh so your whole problem isn’t that the game is 1st person instead of 3rd?.
do you even pretend to read something anyone says or do you just skim two words and design an entire response around that.
Tell me why does it have to be 3rd person ?.I think we know why these sorts of comments and responses exist...
Lets just say there are people criticizing what they do and don't like about what they saw (again i think it will be fun shooter much like wolf and doom, just not what i'd hoped from an indy game)
and lets just say the other people will have a fun time if this really does get announced as multiplatform.![]()
Tell me why does it have to be 3rd person ?.
Answer the question. Why can it not be a first person game and be good?.so yes, you don't have reading comprehension skills.
