I'm talking about Persona 3. How did we accept this situation, could you explain?

It's not an 18 year old game? It's a remaster of an 18 year old game.
If people buy it then we can't control much else. I'm pretty damn burnt out on persona so I have no horse in this race one way or another but ultimately the market will decideI'm talking about Persona 3. How did we accept this situation, could you explain?

My desire for a remake doesn't mean I want it to be merely touched up with low effort akin to a remaster and sold for $70.ChoosableOne you buying that SH2 remake?
You should have shared the survey I filled out in elementary school; my favorite game was Mario. When you were pushing for Silent Hill 2 and Morrowind Remakes, did you expect them to be free, or sold for less than full price?
Because Persona fans regularly take it in the ass and beg for more. This is the series that pioneered releasing “DLC” as a separate full priced game that’s incompatible with the original.

What a weird thread when Reload pretty much has everything redone from the original asset-wise.
There are waaaaay worse remasters to be upset about.
I'll criticize that too then, what do you expect me to say, I don't understand. I shared this because the price of this game caught my attention, and I'm asking when we got used to such things. Also, it seems that they may have made more radical changes in that game(for better or worse); I think remaking a three-dimensional game is more difficult. No, what they're doing to Silent Hill 2 is much worse than that, and it's going to cost $70 for an inferior version of a 7 hour long 23 year old game.
At least P3 Remake is a marked improvement across the board from everything I've heard.

You're wrong, I love both. Silent Hill 2 isn't out yet and I don't have to make a thread about every wrong doings in the world. Just saw this game's price and opened this thread, that's just it, there isn't any hidden agenda here.I'm saying you just don't like Persona 3 and you love Silent Hill 2, which is totally fine, but there's a reason you made this thread about one and not the other.
At the end of the day, things are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. I ain't paying $70 for P3 but I know some very happy longtime series fans right now who are.
The thing I am against is that they are exploiting these people.I know some very happy longtime series fans right now who are.
If your hardware embeds 18 years old technology, you don't have to justify releasing 18 years old games.![]()
