Wow. Really unexpected.

In fact, the message is giving out real positive vibes. I actually think this will be really good news for Xbox fans. I actually think Xbox are going to subvert expectations here.

Maybe 2 low-key games going multiplatform, but EVERYTHING else is Xbox exclusive (excluding COD).

99% positive

i hope they own their shit and dont blame sony
It's sonys fault they built a console that's too good and our idiots completely misread the situation wouldn't be a good look.

Also a brave move to blame someone your going to rely on being a strong presence in the industry.

Delusional. If this was the case they would’ve denied 99% of the rumors IMMEDIATELY last week.

Excluding cod is a big one. Coupling that with the rumor cod is not coming to gamepass. That'd be an impressive spin to call it 99 percent positive.

Seriously, so a podcast for two games, a tweet could've cleared up this last week if it was just two games.

With the lack of any hardware reveal and this just being audio, there's more going on than anyone realised in my opinion but you are free to cope until then for sure.

This has major change written all over it, bet its been run through the lawyers a few times to make sure no one has said something that could be actionable.

The news won't be as bad as the morons were saying but it's still not going to go down easy for Xbox console exclusive fans.

And why should it?

Their poor management has led to this and in the process they will likely to devalue the console even further

And people seem to forget they already release on PC, phones and cloud and barely anything has improved.

Why is a trillion dollar company being outsold and outclassed in the console market time and again?

It’s clear it’s the people running the division are not good enough

I wish I could approach life with this type of blind optimism when literally all signs point to the absolute opposite.

Um they said last week it would be a business update. What that means I have no idea from this tweet. It could mean a lot of things both good and bad to be honest.

Im just keeping an open mind about this.

I don't disagree with you at all. The 360 era was some of my favorite times when gaming on consoles, met my wife during that time playing Borderlands and BF:Bad Company. It's crazy they had the fall they did once the Xbox One was introduced, but like you said it comes down to leadership. Gamepass was a haily mary to right a ship that was fast taking on water. It was great then but spending the amount of money they do to bolster the Gamepass platform while bleeding money cause most people aren't paying full price for extremely expensive 1st party projects is why they are where they are now, among other reasons.

Honestly the only people who will be mad regardless of what is announced are people who don't even contribute much to their bottom line anyways so it's kinda a win win for them. They can move in a direction that should theoretically put more money in their pockets, and the only fans who will be pissed and grumble on social media are people who have been stacking $1 gamepass subs off of cereal boxes.

Moderated wildly
Truth is I don't expect full 3rd party. Some games will be coming over, sure, but it will likely be a while before they are hands down full 3rd.

But I agree, no matter what side of the fence, this has been a wild ride!

I completely agree, full third party in 5 to 10 years. Games that make sense now.

I just hope Hi Fi Rush performs well enough to secure a sequel and a netflix show.
This is so stupid. A fucking podcast, and half a week before it gets here? Just say what's going on FFS.

They are going to, on Thursday. Give them time to learn the script :)

Sorry. Forgot to add the obvious sarcasm signpost. To be fair, it is pretty obvious sarcasm. Who the fuck would actually think this? Not even the most rabid Xbox fanboys would be this optimistic.

That's twice this has happened recently, so I'm just going to avoid sarcastic attempts from now on.

shit even the heads of Xbox seem to podcast more than actually doing Xbox stuff...

(this is so fucking dumb, if it's just 3 people chatting over teams why wait till thursday, unless this really is some nintendo NDA thing then MS is absolutely bungling this messaging.

why continue to let the narrative around your product decay and get worse, they should have done this already if its just a podcast.)
