I really think your assessment is just totally off and that you're unable, or unwilling to decipher what this game is trying to accomplish. The videos you posted when you said “most innovative title of 2025” don’t show any substantial ship management and looking at other videos it looks pretty generic with base upgrades and buffs you find in all of these games. And there’s certainly nothing in the videos you posted or others that show any kind of elevated teamwork past titles like Helldivers or Space Marine.
Your Zelda comment is pure nonsense but it’s typical of your high horse mentality in these nonsense service based game threads you make.
“Most innovative game of 2025”. It’s literally Helldivers or Space Marine with some ship elements. Cool. Actually judging from the videos, Space Marine teamwork is deeper because of the classes and roles everyone plays.
What this does??

Space Marine 2 is a low stakes, one and done, narrative driven, traditional linear shooter.
Jump Ship is a high stakes, highly replayable, player choice driven, co-op shooter.
Honestly, if you see Space Marine 2 here, outside of MAYBE aesthetic (not really), then I have to classify you as clinically insane. They are almost nothing alike.
What's innovative about this? I'd prefer this:
It's possible you just have this one wrong.lol, im not talking about the Space Marine 2 campaign, I’m talking about the PvE co-op missions. They aren’t one and done, you replay for level ups and unlocks and shit. Though you can also do the campaign co-op.
I mean you can type up a thousand words all you want, the very videos you yourself posted shows a pretty generic looking PvE game with the usual “go to A, wait for bar to fill, fight off waves of enemies, oh no the bar stopped go fix it, oh here’s a bigger enemy” rinse and repeat. I’m sure there are other types of missions but what you showed is just another PvE shooter with sci-fi elements.
It's possible you just have this one wrong.
The second to second gameplay might be similar (shoot lots of stuff) but the wider loops are nothing alike.
I had same reaction especially when put all capital letter on JUMP.Oh damn I thought it was another Shounen Jump game coming
Looks like it could be fun but as others I’m also failing to see where the innovation is?
You don't always need to innovate. Please, tell me how GoW and GoW Ragnorok innovated? Horizon? Spiderman and Spiderman 2? Ratchet and Clank? Astrobot? What about any of these japanese hack n slashers? Souls-likes? Sometimes, games can exist to be fun. Personally, I feel like this is a more fun Helldivers with depth.Looks like it could be fun but as others I’m also failing to see where the innovation is?

This game has multiple people commanding and using a ship between on foot missions. There's a lot going on.
All the previews thus far have been content creators playing with devs. Studio said they are making the game for people who want to play solo (AI bot teammates mentioned). Not sure about offline play. From what I can gather the team is pretty small so I wouldn't hold your breath on it being a good solo experience. It feels like a Helldivers 2 sort of game to me...though who really knows? The big issue right now is a lack of mission variety (only two mission types as of now). Early Access starts sometime this summer.Men_in_Boxes
- What's the solo experience like?
- Is there a solo queue?
- Will it have contingencies in place for no players being online (like bots or solo scaling)?
- Is it playable offline?
