there's obviously something SE related coming to xbox, i think it's safe to assume as much. I still don't think people should get their hopes up for MS dropping some massive Bomb at a TGS presser though, they'd rather keep that for their Western focused Showcases where they'll naturally have a bigger audience.

13-2 is legitimately a good game, monster collecting is fun and it makes the party system better

Had sold my PS3 before XIII-2 came out, but I was so hyped for LR I bought another just to play it. I remember the gaf OT thread was called Toriyama's Bizarre Adventure and I lurked there daily.
Funny story though I ended up having stuff happening in life that stopped me getting far into it, wasn't until years later I finally completed it on PC. Also have XIII-2 on Steam I just never got around to it.

Yes it can. But no publishers utilize it.

PSN can see any game you own including physical ( obviously still having a physical copy is another thing, but a Disc verification can fix that)
I really don't know why Xbox would get a discount though, they got a free upgrade for their original purchase so they're owed nothing, and to change Playstation full price after the free upgrade and now a discount for Xbox is kinda insulting.

I'd replay 13 on PS5, never played the other 2 but would be interested.

All three are pretty decent in their own right. 13-2 was kind of weird with the battle system using monsters, but still good enough for a playthrough. My favorite was lightning returns.

Naw, people were just salty because it was different from what they feel Final Fantasy should be…particularly the battle system. Admittedly, I didn’t really care for it at first, but revisited a little later on and loved it.

What about it? They were selling a remastered collection of 10-12 year old games (Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster) at $50. The FFXIII trilogy is about 11-15 years old right now.
