Hopefully they show a competent trailer for Pokemon Legends Z-A. Would be nice to see that they actually learned a thing or two from their most recent releases..

But then again if you know you can sell countless millions of an unpolished turd I guess it might not make sense to hire someone to polish it.

I'm actually kinda looking forward to it, even though I'm not really into pokemon anymore. But I enjoyed Sword/Shield a lot and S/V seemed to have some good ideas, though the execution was just all around terrible so I didn't really bother with that. Sword/Shield had absolute banger music, some great waifusfun characters and was all around just an enjoyable experience. So maybe they could actualy come up with something I might look forward to?

Can wait for them to announce another clock and an another pokemon sleep so I can sleep well on their presentation.

Jokes aside, it was about time for them to show progress on the Z project, otherwise people would forgot about its existence.

I’m going to offer an unrealistically optimistic take - we’re going see stand alone releases of the GameBoy to GBA games on the eShop.

We’re also going to see Z-A, which will be as good as Arceus.

We’re also going to see Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness Remastered.

lol.

I wonder if ZA will get announced for the Switch 2.

Also I guess this means no Nintendo Direct in Feb.

There is no reason for a Pokemon game to be exclusive, taking into the account the shit graphics of Scarlet/Violet.

Crossgen will be a better option, for the money plus install base of the regular NS.

I don’t recall anymore, but do they usually give this much notice for a Pokémon presents?

Typically, Nintendo directs are no more than 36 to 48 hours notice. But I don’t recall what the usual Pokémon presents timeline is As far as advance warning. But it seems like seven days is a lot of time unless you want a lot of hype and buzz to be built up around it. 🤷‍♂️

I think it’s great that the lineup for switch this year is still so strong. We just got donkey Kong. Xenoblade X is next month. That’s one of my favorite Wii U games by far. And then Pokémon ZA legends is still this year. But I’m definitely at the point where I’m willing to wait a few months to play any of these games if they’re gonna look and run better on switch 2. I do not need to buy them at lunch. That’s the problem I’m running into.

Yes I meant cross gen, as in a Switch 2 version announced.

So far I don't think any full game has been "officially" announced for Switch 2 (outside of indie titles).

We got some Mario Kart footage but we don't know what the game will be called.

I’m reaching here … I’m well aware of that … but didn’t Nintendo say they announced the Switch 2 in the middle of January (and have us wait some 76 days for more info from Nintendo 🤬) was so developers could announce and reveal games for the system … Maybe something Switch 2 will be shown …

I doubt it. I don't think any Pokemon game has been cross gen?

The first Switch 2 Pokemon game will likely be Gen X, followed by a B&W remake/sequel
