It's not the choice that would matter to the DEI crowd, it's the fact the other half have the option to eliminate DEI. I think this would make the DEI crowd go even more ballistic.

Plus, realistically how would these games even get made? The two teams would have to work together and that would be awkward to say the least. Unless one team gets a pass at the game when the other is done. I assume it would have to be two teams as how can one team work with a DEI mindset and a non DEI mindset simultaneously?

Picture this: A new law is passed that requires every new video game to come with a required setting upon first launch.

You start up your new game for the first time, and before you even arrive at the main menu, you see one question: Based or DEI?

You choose Based, you get no DEI shit whatsoever. You see stunning characters with huge racks and asses, no bisexual lighting or weird colour pallets, no cringe dialogue or modern day political shite. You choose DEI, you get all the ridiculous shit you want. Suddenly the games colour pallete becomes pinker than a certain animated panther, and there's more woke shit on screen that you can shake a nob at.

Think about it. Chuds and purples will no longer have to worry about the culture war. You just pick your setting and that's it. Neither side of game devs have to worry because by law they need to include both options. Simple as. It's not even "oh, you're actually going along with this and putting in a based version? Fucking bigots!", because the based devs have to put in the DEI version too! You've got no choice, it's law, fuck you!

Review bombers will be out of a job. Drama YouTubers will be dead in the water. The world will naturally start healing from this ebic new legislation.

DEI doesn’t disproportionately benefit Black people, it primarily benefits white women, individuals with disabilities (who are mostly white), veterans (who are also mostly white), and many others, most of whom are white simply because the U.S. population is majority white. You're confusing it with Affirmative Action, which, by the way, is restricted by federal laws prohibiting quota-based hiring or school enrollments. The ignorance on this topic is absolutely mind-blowing because politicians and media outlets use it as a bullshit rally call.

Anyway, yes, there are trans, gay, bisexual, and other LGBTQ+ folks who might benefit from these practices too, but let’s be real, the majority of them are white as well. Leave Black people as a group subject out of this shit, we already getting called out for enough as it is.

Fallout and Elder Scroll games are already the perfect game for everyone on PC. Elder Scrolls VI would be the next one. You can do anything and everything you want to make your own ideal game/world with mods. Skyrim alone got over 7.2 BILLION mods downloads without even counting Fallout or other Elder Scroll games and that's only on Nexus Mods alone and not even counting other modding sites.

Typically DEI/woke stuff in games is a breeze to look past/not care about when it's just text or UI but when it goes into things like dialogue especially from franchises that's heavy on it like Dragon Age. For example: Veilguards dialogue just felt like I wasn't even playing a game from a fantasy universe. It can feel modern day. That's the real immersion breaking problem for me when something bleeds from this woke walk of life into a game that's not even remotely like our current universe/era.
