Our majority owner sells 1.2 million dollars in stock. Union fan base on twitter immediately speculates on a new player.

USMNT Jan Camp roster will be up at 12:30pm ET today.
Well Minnesota has 11 players now. We could technically fill a lineup. Some players that I think will be great in MLS but still have a few holes and need some serious help with depth. All three DP slots still good to go. Hoping we can find a defensive midfielder with one of them. Pieces are coming together but surprise signings are few and far between, been a frustrating month. January and the draft should be a trip.
Doing better then the Revs who have added... A new assistant coach.
Has to be the best (or at least most interesting ) player to never get a USMNT call up no?
I'm super excited for that January game. Super excited.Sounds like Bradley was offered the Norway job after someone else turned it down.

http://www.11alive.com/sports/atlan...ting-event-in-mercedes-benz-stadium/382967265ATLANTA -- Atlanta United will be the first sporting event to play in the new $1.5 billion Mercedes-Benz Stadium opening this year, the Arthur Blank Group announced on Friday.
Atlanta United, an MLS expansion team beginning competition in March, will play its first regular season game at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium stadium on July 30. The team's inaugural schedule will be released next week and will play its first home games at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Georgia Tech before moving into the new stadium.
The Atlanta Falcons will play two preseason NFL games and the season opener in August at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The team's schedule will be announced in the spring. There will also be a "grand opening event" followed by two concerts in August. The concerts will be announced later in 2017.
The first two college football games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be the Chick-fil-A Kickoff game between Alabama and Florida State on Sept. 2. Two days later, Tennessee and Georgia Tech will play.
The Georgia Dome's final event will be in March, and then a demolition date will be set.
USL is now provisionally D2, same with NASL.

I'm calling it now. We get a third Cosmos revival in the USL over the next three years with the owner touting a bullshit MLS strategy.
The team plays at Belson the first two years and again attempts to partner with the Mets. No one bites and the Cosmos accept their fate.
That sounds about right. They won't be able to get the same level of players they used to either, who'd want to play for a team that's barely clinging to life?
Idiots and burnt out stars who get in early and lucky enough to get overpaid by an fiscally irresponsible business owner who believes the Cosmos can make it to MLS after pissing the league off in 2012.
Emerson Hyndman is going on loan from Bournemouth to Rangers for the rest of the season. Will be good for him to get some PT. He was injured at the beginning of the season and hasn't been able to crack their rotation yet. He started an FA Cup game last weekend.
Also, the MLS combine is ongoing this week. There's lots of info over on http://www.mlssoccer.com/
Arsenal midfielder and United States under-23 international Gedion Zelalem is nearing a move to Borussia Dortmund, sources close to the player have told ESPN FC.
ESPN reported at the end of December that Dortmund were lining up a move for Zelalem as they look to bring the 19-year-old to the Westfalenstadion during this month's transfer window.
The 19-year-old midfielder has struggled to establish himself in Arsenal's first-team plans this season following a successful season-long loan spell at Rangers last term.
Zelalem has only made substitute appearances in the EFL Cup this season and Dortmund hope he could be lured away from Arsenal with the promise of more first-team opportunities in Germany.
The attacking midfielder is out of contract at Arsenal in the summer and Dortmund believe they can land Zelalem for a cut-price fee this month.
Zelalem was born in Berlin and played for Hertha Berlin's youth teams before emigrating to the United States with his father in 2006.
Sources close to the player have told ESPN FC that the midfielder is keen on a return to Germany with his father actually a Dortmund fan.
Zelalem, who represented Germany at youth level before switching his international allegiances to the United States, could become a teammate of U.S. international Christian Pulisic at BVB if he makes the move back to Germany before the close of the transfer window.
Maybe part of the job is to make the group we have into a better team taking what you have and making it better, make it more cohesive, he said. Theres a word they use for that: coaching.
There was an interview with him on ASN back in 2015. He's still with Chesterfield, though there were a lot of stories that he might move last Summer to a Championship club, but he didn't in the end as no one met their valuation of him. He's been struggling along with their entire team this season. Not sure if they'll hang onto him if they get relegated. I don't think he's played for the US U23's in a while.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gboly_Ariyibi
Huh. Not familiar with this kid but he's quite the regular for Chesterfield. They're looking in danger of going down to League Two but that doesn't seem like it will affect his playing time. I wonder what the long term plans are for him in terms of the national team set up.
What a wife.
So... in addition to the World Cup, the Gold Cup is also being expanded. The 2019 edition will feature 16 teams.
Incidentally, the 2019 Asian Cup has been increased to 24 teams.
Well, I'm cool with a larger Gold Cup. It's kinda short as is and it should lead to a couple of fun matches.
