yeah the trailer looks really good, feels like we're hitting a wave of genshin competitors rn that are like the wave of mmos that tried to chase wow. but this game actually looks really promising as it seems to have a good amount of effort put into it, i'm hoping it's not just skin deepOficial website: https://www.anantagame.com/
That announce trailer looks insane WTF, it makes NTE look like an amateur project.
Been hyped for this game since it was 1st announced and it looks 10x better now than it did before. If they pull it out, this game will be massive.
If you say the title backwards it almost sounds like Atlanta.Stupid name
ANANTA looks considerably better than NTE IMO. It has a cohesive art direction and the characters feel like they belong to that world instead of being random vtubers transplanted into a generic anime style urban world.Nobody:
China: Here's 2 very similar looking open world wacky anime action RPG's at the same time! (Project MugenAnanta and Neverness to Everness)
No release date or window yet, but we know it's coming to PS5, PC and mobile.Either this will be a game which will shake/shock the gaming scene (more or less like Genshin) or this will fail hard.
An Anime GTA from China?!
Any Idea on what platforms this will be released and when?
ANANTA is in development for PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android. A release date has yet to be announced.
So Genshin meets Astral Chain meets GTA?
Also... Am I crazy or the song from the trailer is extremely similar to this one:
I have to agree. NTE looks decent but it has an aura of...generic-ness to it that feels like it's just chasing fads. Ananta seems like it actually has some sort of vision from the team, it's hard to describe but I think you really hit the nail on the head on saying it has a cohesive art direction, even though the environment seems to have a degree of random shit happening it gave me vibes of the kind of wacky world building from old school flash skits like Vinnie Veritas used to do.ANANTA looks considerably better than NTE IMO. It has a cohesive art direction and the characters feel like they belong to that world instead of being random vtubers transplanted into a generic anime style urban world.
If Netease manages to pull this off... oh boy, we're in for a treat!
The original reveal trailer:
This is looking really fun, can’t wait to get a release date.
I'm impressed at how many things seem to be interactable (but it's a trailer so how do you really know for sure). I like the idea of building and adding as time goes by. If they can stick the landing here, it could be a breakout hit.
Yeah I mean open world game sounds cool but it this a gatcha with like a hundred different currencies to grind or what.Holy shit dude WHAT even is this game?
Doubt, it's a prerendered cutsceneI do wonder if they'll manage to keep the NPC density that's shown in some scenes of the trailer for the final game.
Here's a better version of that scene with a 4x slow motion effect applied. I'm putting it in a spoiler tag though, because the gif is large.
I prefer the Anata girls. Waifus FTW.
