I love the mobo design but it seems that they are separate, self-contained systems. One side can't speak to the other? I can't see how they connect through that metal plate.

The unit featured in the video is a prop to illustrate the design and cooling components. The retail version will have cables/interconnects between the various components and will not be magnetized like the prop.

There will be PS5 teardown video, Mark Cerny mentioned such a thing in his presentation. For the PS4, it was given by the system's lead engineer I think, in Japanese. Probably we will get the same again. Then iFixit will do theirs at the end of the year.

Something about the SSD speed yea, not sure what's going on but the game is PS360-ish level IMO.
Perhaps a 1st of April joke video, we'll see.

The console is still damn ugly to me, but the engineering can't be denied. It's a technical marvel to say the least. Very nicely done MS.

how often do you look at the console though? I think it looks better than my PS4 slim by a mile and also my Xbox s in white

Saturn-like D-pad is great news. Otherwise there's nothing really new with the controller apparently.
The HDR reconstruction is cool though. Too bad I don't have a HDR TV. :p

Well okay I have more expesinve headphone, but they are reference hedphones for Making music, but this shit is some 7.1 awful headphones.

I look at my consoles every day. It's right in front of me. It's not so much how it looks rather than how it integrates with everything else. You seriously think this thing looks better than the white Xbox S? I have that system too and I think it looks super clean without being distracting.

Like, all the time? It's literally on the middle of the living room, by the TV. I understand people have different priorities and taste , but I would never buy something that beastly ugly to destroy my interior design. Just as I wouldn't have ugly or unappealing furniture or clothes.

yeah the white xbox s aint as good as the black X in mu opinion. I have a ps4 slim which is ugly in my opinion and crap plastic, a switch which is an eyesore the way it sits under tv and my xbox X which looks great. I think all the consoles are great but looks wise there a lot to be desired amongst them all. the Series X doesn't look any worse than the rest to be fair

Weird seeing so many people here hate on the youtuber. I thought the guy was great. Infinitely more tolerable than many people on youtube.

I personally really like this design. I really wanted to build a small form gaming/work station in a case like this but temps would be insane.

I’m most concerned with how fat it is. I have a Boston Acoustics sub woofer that looks similar and I can never figure out how to hide that thing. I have a feeling this is going to be the same way. It just seems like it’s going to get in the way. I also think the Matte black and the concaved vent at the top with the green is hideous.

Yeah i tend to not watch his videos because i find him mildly annoying. I mean i don't hate the guy but just his videos just doesn't do it for me.
Good video nonetheless. At this stage im loving the exposure the Series X is getting. I think MS is doing a fantastic job getting influencers hands on time with the machine.

It really looks like a killer console in both looks and performance. Can't wait to get one to sit under my TV. Definately going to be having mine vertical. That form factor just looks all kinds of awesome when its placed vertically.

Yeah I have a stack of games that I'm waiting to play on the XsX. I only have my launch Xbox One that I haven't upgraded, while my tv and surround system has.

It will be the second time i own an Xbox. Have not had one since Xbox 360 and this is coming from a huge Sony fan.

Will get the PS5 first and then pick up Series X sometime later. Good thing with XBox is i will be able to add gamepass and replay my favourite 360 games. Good times ahead
