You're right, they should drop this senseless "role playing" design strategy and revert to a long, finely tuned cinematic hallway that everyone can experience the same way!At what point does it become too much and they are making a game that 99% of players will never see most of the content which is a total waste of effort and resources?
I am perfectly fine with this type of resource wasteAt what point does it become too much and they are making a game that 99% of players will never see most of the content which is a total waste of effort and resources?
The fact it exists is what makes it special. Knowing you've got a reasonably unique experience dictated by your choices. At what point does it become too much and they are making a game that 99% of players will never see most of the content which is a total waste of effort and resources?
Why would you complain about such a thing? You don't like options and replay value? At what point does it become too much and they are making a game that 99% of players will never see most of the content which is a total waste of effort and resour
Yep that 100% the truthProbably will be the real Goty but media will give to Zelda.
assuming each playthrough takes around 50-100 hours, we're looking at a, uh, 100+ years speedrun? You know someone is going to try to get all 17,000 variation endings.![]()
Yep, I think the last time we had a lot of hype around ending numbers was when Todd said Fallout 3 had 200 endings. The 17,000 endings thing kind of rubs me the wrong way mostly because of PowerPoint styled endings in Bethesda's Fallout games.
On what type of animal?Does this game have titties?
But BG3 certainly has a lot going on in terms of meaningful player choice.
It will be funny if it gets GOTY this year, A LOT of people will go mad about it.
This is not my kind of game but BOTH games are ambitious and pushes the industry we should celebrates BOTH my friends thirs is a greats year to be gamers so much betters than all the cruddy safes games with no effortsProbably will be the real Goty but media will give to Zelda.
That's a lot of bear sex.
You’re thinking of it like a completionist, instead of someone who just uniquely experiences a game for what it is. The developers want the latter. It is highly unlikely you will experience all of the hours and moments listed in one play through or even 2 or 3.If they want to sell the game to me with those numbers... Sorry but I am too old to waste that much time in a videogame
Bear's titties, yesDoes this game have titties?
This is such a bizarre take. It's not 99% players won't see most content, it's every player has the possibility of having a unique experience 99% won't have.At what point does it become too much and they are making a game that 99% of players will never see most of the content which is a total waste of effort and resources?
I mean, I’m not the only one that plans to play through this multiple times, right? At what point does it become too much and they are making a game that 99% of players will never see most of the content which is a total waste of effort and resources?
