The message only shows up on my laptop not my phone.doesn't say "come back in 4 days" to me. do you have a screenshot or so? lol
Yea its some transition that happens on the page. Its there def says come back in 4 daysThe message only shows up on my laptop not my phone.
What a weird age we live in now, maybe it's the near-30 year old Boomer in me, but this age videogames where stuff like this happens is weird and scary to me, IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!
Yea its some transition that happens on the page. Its there def says come back in 4 days
I would but I can not from my current PC.show us a screenshot, in this day in age, why is it so hard to take a screenshot?
doesn't say "come back in 4 days" to me. do you have a screenshot or so? lol
Thanks!
Somebody spot a brother tree fiddy for PS5? Thx.
"I aint givin you tree fiddy you goddamn Loch Ness Monster, get your own damn money!"![]()
People will buy it, just like they buy season passes and episodic games.
If they sold just the shell and later the hardware, they'd buy it.
Hell, I wouldn't be shocked if somebody compared it to the iPhone and asked for a model like
$899 PS5: ten $89 monthly payments, PSN included.
Edit: see? A toy for children compared to a phone.
If Series X launches at the same price, things could get interesting very quick.
$599 Canadian awesome
It'll be $650-700.Yeah 599 with trade in probably haha
More like between 700 and 800 for us
Worse if exchange rate continues to drop towards 1.5 which is very possible
Idk what I screencapped, as you can see from the image I'm playing FF14 ATM.My stimulus check has cleared and my debit card is ready!
Agreed, no way we get 599 in Canada. Be glad if we get 699.Yeah 599 with trade in probably haha
More like between 700 and 800 for us

It's LockhartIt looks like it might be a minecraft dungeons preorder bundle. I did some investigating. Look at the shape of the console silhouette below:

It's all part of Sony master plan, leak that the PS5 will be 500$ so MS will match the price, then Sony will release PS5 @ 400$
You sound ridiculous. Sony has produced a console that is only 15.4% slower at most in regard to all aspects of GPU performance except rasterization but that is potentially 23.28% faster in regard to rasterization. Hence, their box is essentially just as powerful
Jeez man you gonna make me go back and look...I'm too lazy.Did you mis quote me?
You reply is a completely different subject.
Jeez man you gonna make me go back and look...I'm too lazy.
I was replying "in-line" I guess. I should have included the post you were responding to.

And the X one X is 43% stronger than the PS4 Pro. The PS4 Pro one has the most impressive games.
I guess I was agreeing with T truth411 that power is a less significant factor than the studios and what they produce. I am confident Microsoft's new studios will bring the heat, but it's not a sure thing yet.
Fixed{?}
This is flat out incorrect and I’m so tired of the same PS5 spec hyperspin being propaganda’d in every thread. Absolute nonsense.
I'll save that one dollar and buy a pack of gum thank you very much.Apparantly poor people think it's much cheaper at 499 than at 500.
Hes deadPlayStation 5's GPU:
2,230 Mhz (frequency)
2304 SUs (shading units)
144 TMUs (texture mapping units)
64 ROPs (render output units)
36 CUs (compute units)
4MB of L2 Cache
Xbox Series X's GPU:
1,825 Mhz (frequency)
3,328 SUs (shading units)
208 TMUs (texture mapping units)
80 ROPs (render output units)
52 CUs (compute units)
5MB of L2 Cache
-------------------------- Shading Rate Difference
PS5's GPU:
2304 SUs x 2,230 x 1000 = 5,137,920,000 shading operations per second
XSX's GPU:
3,328 SUs x 1,825 x 1000 = 6,073,600,000 shading operations per second
Calculation of Percentage Difference: (5,137,920,000 shading operations per second) / (6,073,600,000 shading operations per second ) = 0.845943098 -> 0.845943098 x 100 = 84.5943098% = ~ 84.59%
The PlayStation 5's shading rate is 84.6% of the Xbox Series X's shading rate.
-------------------------- Fillrate Difference
PS5's GPU:
144 TMUs x 2,230 x 1000 = 321,120,000 texels per second
XSX's GPU:
208 TMUs x 1,825 x 1000 = 379,600,000 texels per second
Calculation of Percentage Difference: (321,120,000 texels per second) / (379,600,000 texels per second ) = 0.845943098 -> 100 x 0.845943098 = 84.5943098% =~ 84.6%
The PlayStation 5's fill rate is 84.6% of the Xbox Series X's fill rate.
-------------------------- Render Output Rate Difference (Rasterization Rate Difference)
PS5's GPU:
64 ROPs x 2,230 x 1000 = 142,720,000 rendering operations per second
XSX's GPU:
If the XSX's GPU has 80 ROPS:
80 ROPs x 1,825 x 1000 = 146,000,000 rendering operations per second
(142,720,000 rendering operations per second)/(146,000,000 rendering operations per second) = 0.9775342466 -> 0.9775342466 x 100 = 97.75342466 =~ 97.75%
The PS5's render output rate is 97.75% of the XSX's render output rate.
If the XSX's GPU has 64 ROPS:
64 ROPs x 1,825 x 1000 = 109,500,000 rendering operations per second
142,720,000 / 109,500,000 = 1.3033789954 -> 1.3033789954 x 100 = 130.33789954 =~ 130.34%
Or...
109,500,000 / 142,720,000 = 0.7672365471 -> 0.7672365471 x 100 = 76.72%
The rasterization rate of the PS5's GPU would be 130.34% of that of the XSX's GPU or - in other words - the rasterization rate of the XSX's GPU would be 76.72% of that of the PS5's GPU.
-------------------------- Compute Rate Difference
PS5's GPU:
36 CUs x 2,230 x 1000 = 80,280,000 computations per second
XSX's GPU:
52 CUs x 1,825 x 1000 = 94,900,000 computations per second
(80,280,000 computations per second)/(94,900,000 computations per second) = 0.845943098 -> 0.845943098 x 100 = 84.5943098% =~ 84.59%
The PS5's computation rate is 84.59% of the XSX's computation rate.
-------------------------- L2 Cache Bandwidth Difference
PS5:
4MB x 2,230 x 1000 = 8,920,000 MB/s
XSX:
5MB x 1,825 x 1000 = 9,125,000 MB/s
(8,920,000 MB/s)/(9,125,000 MB/s) = 0.9775342466 -> 0.9775342466 x 100 = 0.9775342466 =~ 97.75%
The PS5's L2 Cache Bandwidth is 97.75% of the XSX's L2 Cache bandwidth
