PlayStation Studios hasn't been all that great this generation. It really doesn't have a good management team. By how things have been going, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightly that they will rework the game and relaunch it.

PlayStation (and by that I mean Hulst) is adamant in following the GaaS golden goose. Even if that decision is as dumb as WB's. They have tremendous success with their IPs but they prefer to ignore all their 30 year business so they can chase a 1 in a million chance of getting the same amount of money they would get, if they continued to do what they are great at since day one.
