RE died a long time ago.
Trying to achieve a 95+ in our current climate? Unless you're literally Nintendo, you're better off winning the lottery.Perhaps I should have been clearer in what I wrote, if they want to break free from the Mikami/Kamiya legacy then they should be aiming *higher*, 95+, that's how you really know they've succeeded. Either way I don't care about the scores, there day 1 for any RE.
Well that's like your opinion manRE4 isn’t my favorite but Village was not good and not better than any RE I have ever played. Village was embarrassing.
Loved it, played through it twice back to back.Village is underrated.
If we were going to see it soon, it would have been shown during Capcoms TGS show today. Next possibility is at the game awards at the end of the yearduh of course they want RE9 to live up to REmake4 thats the expectation after that masterpiece
Whatever it is i hope they show it soon.
Unfortunately they can't just ignore the opinion of the critics, for many its still a metric of qualityMoronic goal, given the current status of videogame media.
Even if they weren't what they are, it would still be stupid, because the only thing that matters is sales.
He got right some info on REVillage before it was revealed, but also gets other things wrong, most of the time he tweets vague,or very basic stuff that anybody could guessHow exactly does "Dusk Golem" know exactly what goals that Capcom has in relation to a game? That tweet reeks of bullshit. These guys just make up whatever they want. Not like there's any fact-checking on Twitter...
Getting info on a game release is a far cry from telling us exactly what executives are thinking and planning. Is he a mole in their budget meetings? I doubt it.He got right some info on REVillage before it was revealed,
Yeah, that seems to be case. Especially since "they want a 90 on Metascore" isn't really a bold statement since obviously every company wants to get high scores on their games. Frankly it's a strange statement...does this mean that for previous RE games that Capcom DIDN'T want a high score? Obviously they want it for everything they release.most of the time he tweets vague,or very basic stuff that anybody could guess

I don't get it either. Village managd to ramp up the action, introduced crafting, had an open world aspect w/ side quests, and it still felt like a traditional RE survival horror. The game is brilliant.Embarrassing? Lmao yeah sure.
They’re both great but I also enjoyed Village more.
They need a villain like Albert Wesker or get creative. He said that was the problem. It was always the remakes and not the sequels that had high scores. Now they are aware and actively trying to push for 90+ for the sequel.
Cause Chris is the Broly of Resident Evil, the Ape guy, and Leon is Goku who everyone give credit for whatever he does. Please don't be a Jill game. I'm over her after RE3make ruined the character. I'll take literally anyone else.
You want 90+? Make it third person and bring back Leon.

So is RE9 third person or first person?
