I've followed all the stages of development for this game and also DL1 is one of my favorite games from past gen. From all the previews and some leaks from reviewers, I'm fairly confident that Dying Light 2 is bound to score 90+ easily. Dying Light 1 still gets a ton of support from Techland to this day, 5 years later. I completely trust them to deliver on this. Gladly pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition and I can't wait!

Most anticipated game of they year for me outside of "maybe" Starfield. The reviews will probably be mid 80s but unless it's a broken mess I can't really envision myself not loving this game like I loved the first oone

i admit my previous post is a bit exaggerated , but if you see no zombies in an open field, try turning and walk away for a short distance and come back, they all spawn in a large group, i tried this many times.
its not a big issue but kinda break immersion for me, but they spawn way too fast, spawning radious is too small imo

They’ve put a lot of work into it, it’s ambitious, if the writing, quests, world-changing decision-making all pan out, could be good. Parkour looks much better. Combat still looks bad. I get what they’re going for, but the flat-footed slow melee swinging isn’t fun. I hate weapon degradation too but that’s a valid design choice.

I think the media will give it up to 90 given the state of the industry right now. If this is a game that comes out relatively bug free and all in all "complete" it will be far better received than the shit we had to deal with in the past few months

The first one is sitting at 74 on PS4 at Metacritic,which is nuts given some of the high scores a lot of shitty games get.....it should be at least 10 points higher.
Hopefully this second one will be the rare case of a game that had some development issues but came through in the end.....fingers crossed.
