I like this series ... But thats waaay back in ps2 era. Once i finished some of their games (o think 5-6 and orochi, i become bored and never touch the series anymore. But this looks interesting, might trigger new interest for me.

For some reason, my eyes just could not focus on DW9; rough graphics are okay if the game is fun, but it was like I couldn't see items or make out the terrain or see enemies well unless I was in a castle or clear space in combat? (And I was really looking forward to it, I liked the ideas it was trying to add as an open-world chapter.) So far this looks better and I wish them well, but DW9 spooked me on the series.

I'm the same as you. Been a massive fan of Dynasty Warriors series since DW3, but DW9 really gave me PTSD.

Yeah, definitely have some doubts on their next game. Waiting for reviews, Steam reviews, impressions from YouTube and a sale, lol.
