Snap. I was the one that returned to PlayStation after those glorious 360 days of multiplayer magic. So many games, so many experiences

I have to be honest. Some campaign coop and gears 2 horde on river. Sounds just about right

If so, day 1 and Microsoft can finally start taking my cash again

Love the Gears series i'm all for an upgraded collection like master chief collection, and yes on PS5 so we get tons more people to play with.

I miss the days of Horde mode when it was at its peak, bring it all back remade! All the maps modes everything. <3

Port everything to UE5. That would make this collection one of the greatest deals in gaming since the Orange Box.

It would also take up your entire hard drive and then some, plus take multiple discs. As cool as that could be, it would take a ton of work, and have issues. I'd personally be fine with remasters, don't need remakes. Then again, the only gears I have played is Gears 1 and some of 5.

I think what he tries to say is fighting with robots after locust and lambent isn't really that fun. They just sucked as an enemy and dragged for way too long

I do loved the intro though, that whole bit with going through eras was a fantastic idea

Well everyone's entitled to their opinion. I thought it was great after 4 games of the same thing (I liked all 4 previous games a lot as well). Got a lot more lore and got to see the other side. Was a huge breath of fresh air from an art design standpoint. New weapons as well. The robo shotgun was great. I just didn't have anything bad to say about it. And then they mixed it up after a few levels as well, more than the previous games.

But leaving out the first one would be a big mistake: while the upgrade is already great, it would pale in front of a UE5 port.

So we have 4 games. Even 3 remakes for the price of one would be too good.

Haha sorry I was playing on a meme for Gears of War 2 when it was reviewed by (I think) IGN, when they said it was almost too good.

Standard pricing at £60 is what I would expect. These are older games that will likely be ported. It doesn't need fancy treatment.

My ranking is similar, I loved entire trilogy. If I would have to pick one I would probably pick Gears 2 as in my opinion it had the best campaign. Gears 4 was just meh, and Gears 5 was... yeah, I didn't enjoyed it too. One thing that was great that came out of it was Hivebusters dlc though. It was so fucking good
