Transcript:

I can talk about Gears Collection because Gears Collection has cost me a lot to corroborate its existence but it seems that it exists and I can confirm that at the moment in which Gears Collection is announced, which I don't know when it will be but it will be announced as multiplatform day one. I repeat again. When these kinds of remasters are announced, remasters of the old Gears games are going to be able to be cross-platform play simultaneously. The only thing I haven't been able to confirm is the launch of a Switch version but it can be played cross-platform on PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

Should mean that 2 and 3 finally arrive on PC right? (Edit: yes. I can’t read worth a shit today lol) Either way will nab on PS5. Got my original 360 copies (and the Xbox one ultimate edition) chilling on my shelf.

For you guys who never played Gears, it's an awesome shooter. BUT totally different than any typical first person run and gunner. It's third person/over the shoulder, requires lots of cover, peaking over ledges or around corner as you're ducked down, and rifles dont do much damage. It's a game skewed to shotgunners and snipers who are good at cover to cover gameplay.

Play the game like COD and you'll get destroyed. I was never good at this game in MP.

If you dont want to play all the games (overkill), skip #1. Also, #2 and #3 have Horde mode which is awesome. Wave after wave of enemies in survival mode which you can play solo if you dont want to team up in coop.

I paid good money for this Dynex!
I really hope they do a good job with them and don't muck with the art style or any of that. The entire trilogy is gold. I played through Ultimate maybe a month ago, and it's absolutely as good as I remember... even with that version's less-than-desirable alterations.

Having all 3 on PC would be awesome. Here's to hoping they're good remasters for every platform, lol. Shame we have to even hope for that, but that's the reality we're in.

Boy MS is shook.

Bad earnings report, and they're like Oprah handing out cars to the crowd with their IPs.

Still, PS5 Pro has at least saved Xbox from making their own mid-life update console - that's helped stop some of the bleeding at least.
So true. It would explain why Microsoft didn't bother making their own Pro version for their console - with the disgustingly awful sales Xbox Series has, Microsoft probably say "Screw This" and decide to become a third-party publisher, and rather pour their resources into making Pro Enhanced versions of their games as they'll get more money than making their own Pro console.

I might have to give this series another chance I hated Gears when it came out
and thought PDZ was better my college friends gave me so much shit for that lol

Since we are steadily approaching the 20th anniversary of the Xbox 360 and these remake/remaster rumors and reports keep popping up, maybe I should hold off on buying/playing older BC 360 games on my Series X until all is said and done.

I was about to look into Oblivion, but then the remake rumor popped up.
I was about to play Ninja Gaiden, then the NG2 Black remake popped up.
Now Gears remaster collection news is popping up.

That means Lost Odyssey or another 360 classic could be next.

Gear's should have a console war playlist where it pits a team of playstation players against a team of Xbox players. Voice chat between teams always on and report player button absent.
