It's probably the best FF game on PC we've got in terms of technical/graphics. I don't know why this can be so good yet newer (and older, see FF 13) are worse off.

Lol the Final Fantasy that turned people off the series for good is the last one you should be even approaching for any remaster work.

Just do a current gen patch if you want and move the fuck on.

The game sold over 10 million copies, it’d totally make sense to do some kind of remake/remaster.

FWIW I thought it was very flawed and incomplete but I still really enjoyed it. I’d take XV over XVI any day.

That mess needs a full on remake at this point. If you're gonna remaster something, at least remaster the XIII trilogy which isn't on modern platforms.
