That performance was quintessential Moyes. Set piece goal. Concede possession. Diligent organisation. It works wonderfully when you're Everton vs City, Sociedad vs (a very poor) Barca.
Less so when you're Manchester United and you're at home and saying you aspire to be like Man City and Liverpool are the favourites.
For all van Gaal's failings and egocentric nonsense, he would never lie down and take it in the poop chute like Moyes did. He demands improvement after every game. He talks about winning the title because that has to be the aim for Manchester United.
Moyes is a lovely guy and I wish him the very best of luck. If it wasn't for my darling Cholo, I'd want him to win La Liga. I'd happily see him back at any British side. He just isn't made for a club like mine.

I really can't give two fucks about the EPL. I watch some EPL matches troughout the year because they're fun to watch as a neutral. And I need to keep up with banter in here of course. But other than just wishing some of them fail I don't have favourites. And the Citeh fans in here even make it hard for me to wish they fail. They're such nice human beans.
As long as Villa gets relegated all is fine.

I actually like Mou. He makes football interesting to watch and even though he does "mind games" to the max, it's entertaining to watch someone want to win that bad.
I fell in love with him when I saw that clip of him with Inter winning with 10 men down in Barcelona against that god-like Barca squad. Goddamn what a defensive performance, and then him storming out on the pitch with one finger raised and then that cunt Valdes coming on while the sprinklers started... just something poetic and unique about that.
