Rules changed over Turkey's foreign players

Posted at 12:43
The Turkish Football Federation has removed limits on the number of foreign players allowed in its teams, with 14 domestic and 14 foreign players now permitted in 28-man squads, paving the way for clubs to field 11 foreign players in matches.
Previously a maximum of six were allowed to play at any one time.

Ozil & Ramsey are back to the squad

With Theo & Alexis we can be deadly if we decide to play proper football

The thing is, Santi is in a good form which means Ozil must fight for his spot

that's what arsenal need more of

teenagers

is Arsene building a top 4 side or a boy band

----

In interesting transfer news, Millwall still sniffing about big Jim Hanson :/

If we do sell for 500k-1m ish...will fund our move for Stead easy as plus a couple more but still....would rather keep hanson. Better player than Stead in my books

And then wedward moans when they're signing a 29 year old with grey hair

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Call it strange, stupid, naive but I think well turn up against Southampton this weekend.

Dont quote me if we lose please

You already beat them away despite a QPR-esque performance, I'm sure you will stumble your way to three points.

Dante told the Brazilian TV that he is sick of Bayern players making jokes about the 1:7 defeat during the WC :lol. Müller seems to be the worst in that regard.

We might see the best of Ozil now then as he has to fight for it. As before some games seemed like he was picked because of the price tag on him.

Agreed. Ozil is world class but he needs to adapt

Adapt yes but also playing in the position which made him world class in the first place.

Must say this talk of Varane maybe leaving for £20m would love for us to go for him. I mean we all know Arsene likes his french players. Think him and bosscielny would make a good partnership.

When Enrique gets fired I'm hoping beyond all hope that Rafa gets the Barca job. There'd be tears.

------------------Ter Stegen
Montoya - Pique - Matheui - Adriano
------------Mascherano - Busquets
Alves ----------- Messi ----------- Alba
------------------Suarez----------------

Neymar on the bench for not being disciplined enough.
Yes, I'm basing that lineup on he good ol' days of Kuyt and Riera on the wings

13 - @Kevin_strootman gained possession 13 times, more than any other player in Udinese vs Roma. Warrior.

Thank god he hasn't lost it.

I think it's better off we don't to be honest. The risks are still pretty high. I'd guess it's better for his form and recovery also - and therefore better for us.

I want a winger more than anything. Someone who can carry the ball and has bastard amounts of pace. I want proper 4-3-3 with players that suit it. I need it.

But who?

I want a winger with pace but just as much somebody who can score goals, 15 goals a season at least. If we make a switch to the 433 that becomes crucial.

But when it comes to names, beyond Reus, I don't know what options there are in terms of established players. I'm warming to Depay - it'll be fun to see how he develops. And there is a still a role for Januzaj in this team, we need to make sure we find it.

Depay is the easy prospect-y option. Cuadrado really isn't a bad shout.

Otherwise yeah we basically have to look at megabucks signings like Reus, Bale or Messi.

Broadchurch s2 has started off well. Nice to see most of the cast back and an intriguing new case for the two detectives.

I wonder if David Tennant ever mixes up names and places on set, seeing how he stars both in Bradchurch and the american version, Gracepoint. Such an odd decision to not cast someone else. It's not like the average American has any idea who Tennant is.

I'd quite like a prospect-y option. As awesome as it is to sign players like Di Maria and even the Falcao loan, I still prefer seeing young players develop and grow at the club. It was the best thing about the 06-09 period as Ronaldo and Rooney's potential came to fruition.

It's also important for squad balance. A fair number of our players right now are at the peak of their career (either just entering or leaving). RVP, Falcao, Mata, Rooney and Di Maria are all 26+. It's important we ensure there is talent behind that...and not too many ego's.

Where we do need a megabucks option is in defence. We're going to score goals and create chances even with the squad as it is now...but that defence is just abysmal.

So Rangers rejected a £18m bid from a guy who owns the Phoenix Suns. What the hell is the board thinking. Like they need loans n shit to get by from month to month then this guy comes in who wants to take the club to an elite level and the say no? I just don't get it.

Glad I don't bother with Scottish football anymore. Its so dead.

Yeah, very odd :lol. I assume that Tennant wants to make it big in America tho, which is fair enough. But yeah, there's no reason not to cast someone else for a remake (essentially)

And I've just seen that it won't be renewed for a 2nd season. Lol Tennant.

Rangers need money and stability so along comes a guy who can provide both and they tell him to piss off. unbelievable really.

The Missing was my favourite British TV show last year, you should check it out, I believe it's similar to Broadchurch.

Well we don't know the ins and outs. If the guy who wants to buy wants to transform the whole club and it's identity I can understand they'd rather not do that.

That's also one of the reasons Ajax always said not to bother with rich guys buying our club. We want 100% control over what happens at the club. If you sell majority shares that's gone.
