Well there really is no replacement for De Gea, such is his ability. Courtois or Cech could do a job, but they're both owned by The Grinch.
Valdes is a superb keeper with a history of winning titles and cups behind a subpar defence in a style and philosophy that's tailor made to ship goals.
There isn't anyone in the world available that is capable of replacing De Gea properly. On current form, only Neuer is better, so we're just not going to be able to get a like for like replacement.

De Gea is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Any replacements we could realistically get would be a downgrade. Valdes is probably one of the better replacements we could hope for.
I like this signing simply because the club is being smart in the transfer market. We've seen precious little of that in recent years.

Haha, yes. He was trying to hard too tackle Pelle from a distance, and missed all the tackles. I would have no chance if he remained calm and just closed down the open spaces.
Win some, lose some. Sometimes it's my turn to get the short end of the stick and lose in the bitterest way possible, in the very last minute and after missing open goals and pens.
And yeah, it would be ace if we could play some FIFA down the line.
