Yeah, I know, and I'm excited about the road course version with proper wings.
I'm just kind of disappointed with the bulky nose still there (maybe Dallara just like Tony Kanaan a lot, who knows...) and the thin front tires. All the rest is gorgeous.

I don't know about bulky, but I think they look a little too long. The flat-ish nose is just a feature of the DW12 chassis. I preferred nose cones from a time when they were still shaped like cones.

He said probably not, but he was under the assumption that he'll be in a winning mclaren or another team. Indy was a thing he was allowed to do because their f1 season fucking sucked.
So when Honda are still his engine supplier and Mclaren are still shit as a result, he'll do it. Great!

Looks awesome. Simple aero and yet very cool design.
To be fair 2017 F1 cars are already generating >60% of their downforce from underside of the car. It's already a ground effect formula

Yeh he didnt say he wouldnt. He said F1 is the priority, in the same way it would have been this year too, but given the performance he pretty well figured fuck it I want to try Indy and McLaren likely got a good deal of an image boost running in Indy.
If he's in the same position next year I entirely expect he will do it again. Its not like they lost anything by him doing it.

In news that will only shock the Kubica fanboys, Palmer will not be replaced this season.
Renault insists that Robert Kubica is not in the frame for a race seat this year, with the French car manufacturer adamant that the Hungary test is purely to evaluate whether or not the Pole can make a Formula 1 comeback in 2018.

There have even been reports that Kubica could make an F1 return as early as the Belgian Grand Prix next month.
But Renault managing director Cyril Abiteboul has dismissed such talk – confirming that Palmer will retain his seat after the summer break and that Kubica's run is only aimed at getting answers about his physical capabilities for a potential 2018 return.
”We continue to support Jo – and there is absolutely no change of plan," Abiteboul told Motorsport.com ahead of the Hungarian GP weekend.

Saying that Kubica isn't an 'immediate' threat doesn't mean Palmer won't be dumped before the end of the year. Does anyone seriously believe that Renault will keep Palmer in the car if he continues to score literally no points?
I have nothing against him, he's proven himself in other formulas but he's never going to be a great F1 driver. Also, before someone mentions about the bad luck he's suffered this year, let's be honest, team's don't care about 'bad luck'. If you're not getting any points all the team owners see is zero points, they don't see or care why.

Doubt it. Both the teams and drivers will have performance clauses, especially in the case of the c-list drivers.
Palmer's in only his 2nd season and hasn't proven that he's any better than pretty much any other midfield racer. There's no way that Renault would have signed a contract that didn't give them a get out clause if he under-performs.
