I think I know what you mean.

usually if I get something new I'm too excited and want to open it up straight away. but I've noticed a lot more recently I don't do that as much. might wait until the next day or whatever.

it's not that I get any pleasure from it. I am very nervous and anxious about lots of stuff and not having immediate satisfaction or relief is a way I am working on being less anxious. it's hard to explain lol

i don't know the word for it but when i'm singing a song my voice matches it. I should know this because I studied music. I want to say it harmonizes with it but not sure that's right. We have the same/similar pitch. it's a girl singing
