It looks great and it's a good general use weapon unlike just about every other signature released recently. No special conditions that only Mavuika can take advantage of.
Don't think I'll have enough wishes to go for it sadly.
I'm still trying to figure out where to put my pulls. I'm going to start with C2 Mav, then decide if I like her kit enough to go higher or get the weapon. If she wouldn't be so motorcycle focused, I was fully prepared to whale a bit for C6, but if it's super clunky/unfun to play in battle, I might just stop there for now. Obviously for traversal she's gonna be amazing, but I'm not gonna roll constellations just for a little extra zoom zoom time.
I was thinking about how I'd make her kit and still keep the motorcycle theme over the past few days.
I think if they didn't want to change too much from the current iteration, they could leave the skill activations the same. Tap to do off-field version, hold for traversal/motorcycle mode. Difference being that she no longer attacks with the motorcycle in Traversal mode, like her current iteration. If you want to switch to infused DPS mode, you would just use a charge attack (hold attack) while in Traversal mode, which would kick of her animation where she jumps off of the bike, but she actually stays off of it, and imbues her claymore for 12-18 seconds. Then you can fight like a normal character using cool animations and nice damage.
Then, to not waste the motorcycle attack animations they clearly spent some time on, when she uses her burst, she stays on the motorcycle and attacks just like the current iteration. More damage, but can only do it for a limited time. Basically makes that part of the kit the burst damage focus instead of the sustained version of an on-fielder that the skill would replace. I think that would make a lot of the current naysayers happy because you actually get to use Mav for on-field damage without the damn bike, but it still gives you use of the bike attacks for short windows.
Too bad there's no way HoYo will ever listen and the only changes I think we'll see between now and launch are nerfs of her damage% or uptime.
One cool bit of detail I saw is that during certain animation frames on her bike, it actually does take the form of a
dragon.
Also, this was a fun Furina mod I saw. I don't use cosplay mods but they actually nailed her look, for a Genshin model.
