A Grand Theft Auto superfan has kicked off a driving marathon around San Andreas, and says they’ll keep going until Grand Theft Auto 6 is launched.

YouTuber 10HoursMovies alludes to “we” in the chat rollup, and says so far the marathon has made about 870 laps around the enormous San Andreas map. They are taking donations, of course, so don’t discount the monetary aspect of this stunt.

Let's not forget about other factors that may put a stop to this effort.

- How long can a game like this keep up non stop without a glitch or crash after some point?

- How long the PC/console can keep up without a glitch/crash/reset/failure?

- How long their internet connection can keep up without a single disconnect (which would then be hard to prove they didn't took a break)?

- How long electricity will be up and stable without a power cut or surge?

Too many random factors that can go wrong in a span of a year.

makes me sad too because over reliance on screen time as babysitter/child-raiser might be the reason mental illness and suicide rates are up with zoomers and millennials. it is sad if generations of people are being saddled with mental illness because big tech finds it profitable and parents find it an easy/safe way to raise children.

Could be worse my neice used to watch a YouTube series called bad baby which was of kids beating adults, taking chemicals and combining them in the sink and spiking their parents drinks, stealing the car keys and not listening to their parents. It was filmed and displayed sped up to keep the kids attention. Multiple kids doing bad shit. Needless to say you can imagine what this did to her. It made her 3 year 10000x worse asbshe would get into so much trouble then start cursing. As funny as it was ( I wasn't the parent) it was crazy. They blocked it on YouTube and she found away to get back to their videos Everytime... At 3 years old.

Of course they had a huge house. Yeah the watching streamers thing I don't get either. Im 40 and would rather play games then watch some random person ask for donations. The worst is the shout outs and "reading the stream chat" if you are going to play play I don't give a rats ass what starcrunch420 says for his $5 donation.

Now reviews and walk throughs on YouTube are fine, they actually have a purpose

I've been playing GTA 5 for a little bit. For some reason I only got around to it now, and I can't believe the dialogue.

It's really stupid. The gameplay is really really fun, and for that I'm grateful. But I can't believe people let dialogue and story this bad slide, but they rip on Shenmue's for instance. Anyway.. no problem I'm just a little shocked. However, I'm indeed having a lot of fun so far. Great game.

It has been looping footage for 16 days, yeah. Someone was posting the same thing over and over, and the word loop caught my eye...so I translated it.
