HBO Max is out now. Free if you have this ATT Wireless Elite Plan.

They have all harry potter movies so far, and I am surprised but they already have Westworld Season 3 on there. I guess I never really expected that.

Looking through HBO Max and there is a lot of stuff missing. Especially DC.

It looks like we are getting the worst case scenario. They are keeping a lot exclusive to their other streaming platforms, so in order to really have everything you may want, you need HBO Max and another subscription

DC Universe is AT&T and offers 4K for half the price.
And a quarter content I imagine. I’m guessing it will he added later. Maybe making sure they don’t run into Disney plus issues

Yeah I’m guessing with everyone home for corona and just launching it they didn’t want launch day issues. I bet we see it within a month

Disney+'s issues had nothing to do with offering 4K content. It had to do with 10 million people trying to sign up at once.

I jumped in for the year, I am spoiled for things to watch

I was hoping for every season of Rick and Morthy watching the pilot again but it is the only thing I see I can click on seems to load episode 2 right after I finished the pilots. Need a better way to navigate these episodes

still nice selection

So, what's the difference between HBO Go and HBO Max for Europe? I can just subscribe to Go here, no need for a cable subscription.

So I take it HBO Max will also have deals with expiring dates like everyone else?

They have a "Leaving soon" section already.

And here's what's coming in June, nothing DC related being added except for Doom Patrol S2. Why even have a DC hub?

Interesting hearing different reviews of the service. Just read someone absolutely trash it, noting its lack of 4k content and basically calls it "HBO with Friends and Rick and Morty added to it," launching without Amazon and Roku partners lined up seems like a mistake.

Another quote "Disney+ is a well curated library of a hundred years of content, HBO Max is a Top 40 radio station."

ouch

All they did was changed the color scheme of the HBO Now app to purple and add Friends and Rick and Morty.

Studio Ghibli catalogue and Crunchyroll are amazing additions. Not for everyone of course

But it's not full Crunchyroll. It's just a sampler platter. If you want everything Crunchyroll offers you need to go sub to that. It's just like the DC content. It's just a sample of what they have on DC Universe.

lol true its so crazy because I have DC and use my friends Crunchroll and I am so confused what HBO is doing. For instance you cant get Batwoman on DC Universe but you can on HBO Max, not to mention if you want to watch crisis on infinite earths you need netflix and hbo max.

It would be silly to put all of Crunchyroll on there, it has like 200+ shows or more and is specifically tailored to anime fans. It's much cheaper than HBO Max as well.
I'm sure enough anime will be added monthly to cater to casual anime fans.
Me personally, I subscribe to Animelab in Australia so I'm happy that some shows are being put on Max. I wouldn't expect them all to be there though.
