So I finally beat the game at 90 hours, platinum'd it and all. Great story.
everything is on.
I think the game could have used a difficulty higher than very hard. Even @50 I don't think I should be able to survive a thunderjaw lunge. The combat is solid enough and fair enough that I would've enjoyed a Soulsborne level of unforgiveness for making mistakes.
I really think some of you guys are spoiling some important things here.
Not everybody has already finished the game.
Keep those things for the spoiler thread, it's not that hard, for fuck sake.
Thanks! I almost went and added digital movements but decided to keep it 100% original footage. Sped up 6000%Finally some good footage of timelapse in horizon. Good Work!!

They got pills for that? More like an OT thing if you ask me.I....I have no wood. How can that be?
Started today.
Holy Shit. What an Opening.Superb Stuff.Cutscenes are superbly done.Music is simply Awesome and goosebumpy.
Gameplay is Nailed here.So good to Hunt Machines. They are truly awesome to fight with.
That fight with Sawtooth was tense for me.
Excited for the Proving now.
Great Start to the Game must say.
Same. I really don't understand the people that need nothing on their screen or think it ruins things. *shrug*

So I haven't had much time to play this because of tons of work > vacation somewhere with friend > back to more busy work. I had started the game and was probably about 3-4 hours maybe?
I put in about 3 hours last night... when only had time for 1... worth it.
I played passed the Proving part of the story. Are there going to be more "oh shit" moments like this? That was pretty crazy stuff.
Where do you Guys see your playtime? Just got my Platin Trophy. Enjoyed it immensely, although i couldn't enjoy it at first, because of personal problems.
It's by the south part of the map.Where on the map is roost and aloys home, near what "mother's" site?

I accidentally cheesed it when I aggroed some Glinthawks and basically just watched them fight each other while pelting arrows at the Rockbreakers.God damn.
The corrupted zone with the two Rockbreakers is no joke. Can barely touch them I'm too busy running around.
How did you guys do it?

Anyone else getting noticeable colour banding in HDR?
It's quite prominent in the foggy/ white skies.
Tried various setting but it won't go.

Everything off except for the weapon and ammo display. I'm trying to play the game as organically as possible. It's especially exciting fighting robots and having to rely on visual cues for their health (which the game provides aplenty) but never knowing quite when they'll go down.
God damn.

In the games defense, the carriage does eventually go off road and its abandoned so at a point you do need to use the focus.
I'm not sure if this is supposed to be an insult, but you don't have to have focus activated to follow the trail. It's there for people who want/need to use it.
How come it feels like I just wasted 2 skill points on low profile? I don't see it making the eye any smaller.
I just can't believe how much vegetation there is out in the wild and all of it is animated and casting its own shadow or reflection.
I set everything off outside of crosshair. It's way better. So what are everyone's HUD configurations in terms of always on / dynamic / always off.
Yeah, I've been wondering the same thing. I seem to be pretty hard to spot so it *might* work even though the eye remains open?
Dynamic everything just works so much better than having everything on. I don't need to see my health bar and everything else while I'm wandering around the world. I want to see all the details of the environment and not have my screen covered by the hud at all times.
Can someone answer me two quick questions;
1) I've bought four maps from a merchant... does every merchant have different maps or am I just rebuying the same maps? Is there a method to this? Each merchant covers a certain area? Do only some merchants sell them?
2) I'm trying to buy all the shadow weapons from Meridian but for one of them I need some Crystal Braiding. Can I buy this from a merchant because I haven't come across any in the wild
West of Mother's Heart, middle way between Mother's Heart and a Scrapper site at the edge of the map.
Thanks, went there because it's a starting area and figured there would be a decent amount of foxes around. Got my fox skin on the second fox I killed and now I have unlimited travel abilities.
Thanks mate. Ugh that means I've bought the same maps like three times haha.1. Same maps
2. I've never seen it for sale. It comes from bigger machines.
No where does it say that it shrinks the eye. I don't know why people think that. The eye just tells you if you're visible or not, not if you're actually hidden from their sight (I hope that makes sense). The perk works fine. There are no extra visual cues that it is working.
