Just played the demo on steamdeck. What a masterpiece! The pixel art is absolutely stunning. Flawless gameplay, kicksss music. I like how the 2nd level zooms out a bit to give you more focus on everything in motion. (Carrionvoy!!) I especially like how the story is explained entirely through visuals, not a piece of dialogue anywhere. And naturally the influences and references of classic games are oozing throughout.

Only slight complaint is that you use either shoulder button to lock the character in place and have free range of shooting... But you cant do the reverse and lock the shot direction while still moving. Regardless, this was a sleeper hit for me.
