I understood what they meant from the very start. I knew full on dlss4 is the factor.

But Pro upgrade is weak compared to PS4 Pro (100%) and super weak vs. Xbox One X (~200%).

the upgrade from One to One X was 5x raw power, and often 6x real world performance.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was 1536x864 on One, 3840x2160 + more stable perfomance + higher settings on One X
that is a resolution difference of 625%

Through the years we've only seen decent increases in performance per generation. Almost every time. It's to be expected, I'm not sure why people are so shocked now. I'm sitting here with a 1080, it's time for me to upgrade, I'm going to see HUGE performance gains. Why does the 40 series performance matter to me, when I can get a 5070 and be covered for 7-10 more years? Who upgrades their cards every generation? That would be insane.
