Snowglobe is going for stupid money on bricklink.
I wish I could have picked one up... if only the lego batman sets had been out. Didn't feel like dropping $99 on anything else.

Mostly new parts and substitutions. Only original vintage parts were the three window pieces and the roof plate.

Thanks for that and a really interesting read! I've got a few old pieces lying around but I'd need a lot of replacements and I'd imagine some are quite expensive now.

Well, I paid about $20 for the four transparent yellow parts and around $10 for a decent red spaceguy, but apart from that there's nothing that really stands out. Maybe the sticker sheet.

So no new UCS Star Wars ships? The rerelease of the Deathstar is the new UCS? Snowspeeder rumor still never materialized?
The mail I got from Lego didn't mention double VIP but did say 'extra special offers for VIP members'.
Snowspeeder should be next year now. Hoping for something special for the 40th anniversary during next year as well.

I was not feeling the Batman CMF from the leked preliminary image, but now... I want almost all of them, plus a few doubles because it would be fun to use some of the bodies with different heads. That Lobster Batman is screaming a Hugh Hefner scene...

yeah but he's using a batman cowl. I can at least upgrade my custom brown printed arkham batsuit with a brown cowl now
If it helps your collecting OCD, it looks like the Catman cowl is slightly different from Batman - it has smaller ears.
