Microsoft should buy Konami to send Sony fans into a coma.
Oh shit i forgot about Creative Assembly. I'm pretty sure Phil said in an interview once that he was a big fan of Alien Isolation, possible sequel coming?, gulp.It would make a lot of sense for MS to grab Sega.
It would give them an in road in Japan and while Sonic is not what it used to be its still decent.
But the main thing people forget about Sega is Creative Assembly. Microsoft would get the Total War franchise. Its a LOT bigger than you would think.
Sega have a huge presence in the West and more western studios than Japanese ones. Still don't think this is going to happen. The thing about this rumor that makes no sense to me:
Why spend that kind of cash on a market that has clearly rejected you over and over? It won’t result in a foothold in the Japanese market, it’ll just result in Japanese gamers not buying Sega products. Like Bethesda I can see, it’s in your primary market, TES sells gangbusters. But Sega? Would make no sense.
This isn’t called MS it’s called TencentYeah, ms buying studio's to beef up their service is one thing. But buying out half of the gaming world and monopolise the industry is another...
Keep supporting a monopolist, then wonder 10 years from now what went wrong.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've read today. Sega's gaming division is literally their only moneymaker at the moment.
They got the money.... Lol
They would not need to buy them to just get this cooperation going.
If you ask me, I would have preferred the $50 reduction over the Bethesda buyout.Same shit as the $50 price reduction? No. Not going to happen.
Phil is doing the Lord's work right now. He's going from sea to sea, conquering evening in front and around. People laughed at him, but he's still smiling.. BTW What's Phil doing in Tokyo? He wouldn't be there for no reason right? Perhaps he's coming in as a conqueror to claim the head. Will we get the sequel for Ghost Of Tsushima. Where instead of Mongols , Japan's now being invaded by MS Robots from the future

Due to Covid? The only reason 'Sega Entertainment' now surpasses pachinko in their quarterly break downs is because they rolled 'amusement machine sales' and 'amusement centre profits' that used to be their own two separate sections all into one with 'entertainment content' that includes gaming my SEGA stock has been an up and down ride but I stick firm on the belief of a one day buy out from a larger partner.
This needs to stop. They've acquired enough companies.
It won't. It's too late. People should have been more conscious back in the mid 2000s.This needs to stop. They've acquired enough companies.

It's not fair that they can just throw money around and therefore gain an unfair advantage in the gaming market. These acquisitions wouldn't negatively effect me since I have a gaming PC, but I don't support them.It won't. It's too late. People should have been more conscious back in the mid 2000s.
You may want to be careful with that stock, because you obviously don't have the slightest idea of the situation of Sega's businesses over the past few years.

Microsoft needs to gain traction in the gaming market the hard way: pushing the development teams that they already have to produce quality games, rather than removing talent from the multi-platform market.
Werent you blowing smoke up Sony's arse in the 'RUMOUR Sony has paid for loads of 3rd part exclusive, offered more money than Microoft' thread?. I know most Sony fans were with their 'its just business' rhetoric. It's not fair that they can just throw money around and therefore gain an unfair advantage in the gaming market. I don't remember. Also, buying timed exclusivity or paying for a perpetually exclusive game is not the same as outright buying a third-party studio.Werent you blowing smoke up Sony's arse in the 'RUMOUR Sony has paid for loads of 3rd part exclusive, offered more money than Microoft' thread?. Around 15 years or so ago, authorities would act on Microsoft. But they're one of the biggest lobbyists in congress now, therefore pretty much unstoppable. It's not fair that they can just throw money around and therefore gain an unfair advantage in the gaming market.
