Skip the village and go straight to multiplayer. That’s what i did for my son and nephew.Well, I was pretty addicted to this, but think I might drop it. Just learned that I cannot play these stupid fucking (village) rampage quests in multiplayer. These are garbage quests that remind me of the WORST parts of recent Ys games. Wish I knew about this dumb shit beforehand, would have just skipped this game.

Yep rampage is trash. There are only 2 or 3 mandatory story ones in village though, the rest can either be co-op'd or avoided altogether. Sunbreak got rid of them entirely, so it's just the base campaign where they exist. You could get the defender weapons and just go ham on monsters ignoring most of the tower defense shit and still be able to beat the mandatory ones. The easy way is to just hit the gongs when you're able to give yourself a massive DPS boost.Well, I was pretty addicted to this, but think I might drop it. Ah, okay. I've solo'd a couple, they're not hard, I just think they completely suck and aren't fun. Good to know it's not a long term thing. I will agree with you about swimming.Rampage is great, you know nothing, they need to make the final title update bring them back in G rank in all their glory and make their rewards 111% must have. End of story, nothing more to be said, lalalalalalalalalalala, first you took my swimming now my rampages, just stahp you bullies![]()

P-O-W-E-R-C-R-E-E-P-!
Can't wait to get my hands on that Blood Rite deco to keep Peak Perfomance up during an actual hunt but the grind to AR181 is going so slowly.
Damn that's fucking nasty. According to Kiranico, that's enough to 1 shot a LR Great Izuchi.![]()
I've heard people actually manage to do 5 digit damage!
You should feel special. This is the first thing I've ever recorded LOL.Damn that's fucking nasty. According to Kiranico, that's enough to 1 shot a LR Great Izuchi.
You know what you have to do, I want a video.

I just followed this. There's going to be variations cause of augments but the basics should stay the same. I'm more about comfy builds so I don't have as many damage skills as recommended.Holycrap whats the build?
I'm at around 850 right now. I imagine I'll hit 1000 given time. When I get bored I switch to a different weapon and I'm addicted all over again. I made a dual blades set for each element during the weekend and I'm currently practicing using them. Now I can't imagine going back to moving without Demon Mode. And Spiral Slash throwing out so many numbers at once is like crack. Berserk and Strife are pretty comfy too especially now that we can easily deco in Kushala Blessing. Then there's the Intrepid deco so your get out of jail card has it's own get out of jail card.I’ve somehow played this game for almost 100 hours now… seems impossible, but I’m pretty addicted to it. It has that “Eh, one more hunt” thing going on that can steal hours at a time. I think I prefer Monster Hunter World to this one, tbh, I kinda regret that I fell off that game. Nevertheless, this has been really fun. Unfortunately I wasn’t planning on spending so much time in it though, it’s kinda screwed up my game rotation.

In World I tried to learn all the weapons, but here I've been 95% bow. I have paddles on my controller and I've remapped all the controls to basically never have to take my thumbs off the sticks... idk, I feel kind of invincible and like I probably broke the game. I don't think you're supposed to be able to play it like this lol. I'm still relatively low level and there's a high ceiling in MH, but I see no reason why these early advantages wouldn't scale.I'm at around 850 right now. I imagine I'll hit 1000 given time. I have a controller with back buttons but I never bothered to program them lol. I should try it out one day. PSVR2 right around the corner.... only so much free time. Don't know how long I'll stick with this, but it's been really fun and I'm glad I bought it. I don't even mind the rampages that much anymore (in multiplayer).
I'm simultaneously having alot of fun and burning out. Basically just doing random hunts from the board one after another on the way to MR 100. I really want that MR 100 Switch Axe cause I'm too lazy to make elemental sets.

I haven't. I'll probably wait for a sale cause backlog's big enough already but I liked Toukiden so I'll probably enjoy it. The claw blade reminds of Toukiden's kusarigama except even more aerial focused.
ReverseI need someone who can sell me this expansion.
Do your best.
I'm not sure what you mean. Risebreak decos are crafted, not farmed.Guys there is some good high rank event mission to farm decos like the great jagras or the lavasioth one in world?
Dafuq what?Reverse
Blast
Dash
Gunlance is the best it has ever been in Sunbreak. It's going to be hard to lose all this stuff once the next game hits.
I'm not sure what you mean. Risebreak decos are crafted, not farmed.
Risebreak has RNG charms. Decos are just crafted directly from the smithy.Dafuq what?
So this is why i almost reached sunbreak and i don't have decos at all...
Fuck i'm gonna get used to this, i kinda loved the rng decos hunt.
Charms are like those pendants you craft in world that goes liv1, liv2 etc. And you can only weat one of them right?Risebreak has RNG charms. Decos are just crafted directly from the smithy.
I wouldn't worry too much about getting a good charm in the base game. It's technically possible to get the best (currently) possible charms in the base game already but it requires such ridiculous amounts of luck. Sunbreak adds more melding types that have better odds to give a decent charm at the cost of being able unable to craft the best possible one. TU5 is supposed to addingmore melding types so maybe it will actualy be feasible to create a god charm without needing massive luckor modding.Charms are like those pendants you craft in world that goes liv1, liv2 etc. And you can only weat one of them right?
There are any good easy event where to farm those?
Shit why they changed method for the decos? I loved that doing any mission would guarantee you some decos and i was swimming in them, crafting them is way less fun and you just have less of them because you only get them by crafting and not from completing missions.
So now i have to use materials to craft weapons, armours AND decos?
I'm a bit lost since i basically never used the crafting stuff in world nor rise so i barely understand what you sayI wouldn't worry too much about getting a good charm in the base game. Also Sunbreak's endgame adds yet another layer of RNG in the form of armor augments. Essentially gacha for even more powercreep.
Unfortunately there's no equivalent in Risebreak where you farm a quest to get a ton of charms. You're going to have to craft. At least they have been making it easier to get a decent one with not that much effort.I'm a bit lost since i basically never used the crafting stuff in world nor rise so i barely understand what you say
I just know that i don't like this method at all, my "build brain" works better when i have pages of decos to chose over crafting everyone of them for specific purpose (it's hard to explain), almost 1000 hours with the mh worlds method did this to me![]()
I'm far from a power creeper so i should not have many problems, i just hate this systwm over world system, it make me want to look at build guides to know exactly what to craft over just looking at what i have to make a build (again, hard to explain).Unfortunately there's no equivalent in Risebreak where you farm a quest to get a ton of charms. I know that feeling of playing jigsaw with decos to get something just right in Worldborne. You won't get that in Risebreak unless you're on PC and get complete control of the augments via mods. There's a lesser experience where you try and make do with what augments RNG gives you but it's just not the same. Augments are kinda but not really like the Safi weapon system. You roll and roll and roll hoping for what you want to show up. There's a lot of depth in it if you're min-maxing as much as possible within legal limits but again that's really only with mods. You can still get some really good sets without that level of build min-maxing.
The expansion has a ton of resource sinks. But you don't really have to worry about augments until endgame. My memory is a bit fuzzy, I think you don't even get access to it until endgame. I'm quite sure augments were released in a title update and not part of the original release. Most people probably don't even bother much with it since the grind and RNG is crazy. People that say Worldborne's deco grind is worse are liars.
That said I'm addicted to powercreep and augments put Fatalis armor to shame. It's crazy how powerful hunters can be and TU5 isn't even out yet.
What system are you playing world on?Still shocked by how gross World looks lol
PS5. It's super jaggy and blurry. Apparently it's 4K60 if you have the graphics mose selected? Idk... it looks like ass. But I've been staring at Rise's clean 4K120ish for many, many hours recently. World is pretty fuzzy in comparison. What system are you playing world on?
MHW looks far better than Rise no contest on pc; the fatalis fight alone blows away anything in rise.
Interesting. I didn't think visually anybody preferred Rise to World, other than better weapons/armor models.PS5. It's super jaggy and blurry. That's probably it; there's no actual PS5 version, you're essentially playing it with the ps4 pro version settings.PS5.
Not really feeling it. Amatsu doesn't even get a new map for itself. But hey TU6.

MONSTER HUNTER RISE[Update Information]
Our patch notes will tell you everything you need to know about what's been updated in MONSTER HUNTER RISE!www.monsterhunter.com
Too early to really tell how the fight's going to be. Maybe it's fun enough that the lack of a unique arena would make up for it. I'm just disappointed since Kulve, Safi, Alatreon and Fatalis got arenas specially tailored for them. Well, Safi and Alatreon had to share but still.Actually not a bad update for me. It wasn't Luna, so it's all good news. Ol' Buff Body armor is back in too.
