Again, the reactionary social media comments look a bit desperate. They should be leading their own charge instead of trying to combat someone else’s.
There are pros and cons to both directions, but personally I don’t want a free “upgrade“ to a version that just pushes more pixels, although some PS4 games will do just that.
I excited instead about something custom fit and designed entirely around this new box of tricks that’ll take us through the next 7 years. A fresh start in a game for a fresh start in hardware. Stop hanging about and let’s get going with it.

The Nintendo Switch sold more than Xbox One and Xbox one X with just a fraction of the time and with true GOTYs and a fraction of power.
In their first year they release more excellent games than Xbox in 7 years.
Nintendo believes in the generations when they are able to change their controls, I repeat Sony and Nintendo are just competing between

My thought on microsoft is that the original problem with Xone was not caused by Dan Mattrick, but rather a team at Microsoft that conducts market research. They take a glimpse of some mid gen event and extrapolate it into future. Last time with "a gimmick" and this time with "PC like upgrade". They don't read the market correctly. Microsoft thought that after making the PS4Pro, Sony will focus on upgrades and running games on high settings. That's the hint they got. They designed XsX to be a cheap high-mid range pc and decided to run current gen games on 4k 60 and that's it.

- It was assumed/discussed by many that the games were probably running on PC due to the text

Clearly to show they do it different than Microsoft who believes in cross-gen games, and equally as childish as the tweet on BC from Microsoft yesterday. Both companies are acting like children.
