No, the heatsink is right over the APU, it's just turned upside down inside the console. Not the same thing.Yeah, with an upside down heatsink exactly like the PS4Pro.

Shouldn't moderators be vetting the people that are making these claims though?*Wink wink nudge nudge*... ahem... interesting.
Maybe Swizzle just did.Shouldn't moderators be vetting the people that are making these claims though?
So...are these consoles similar performance wise?Guys there is a good reason why sony hasn't spoken about memory in PS5 yet unlike MS. Trust me.
Also the most ordinary employee in huge companies like Ubi or EA knows about the target specs for both Prospero and Anaconda.
Cause I wanna see people's reactions for the first time in PSM [2])!
He probably means 32GB Ram, 14.3Tf Rdna2, is that it ?24GB RAM?
i think he just accidently confirmed he's Mark Cerny, like why is he doing thatShouldn't moderators be vetting the people that are making these claims though?
because they releasing two boxes like xbox series x & s.I have to ask....why is the 2 in brackets and how does it relate to a PlayStation Meeting? That can't be in the NDA!?

Man.
So you're now agreeing that Tommy Fisher's talk about the RAM could be accurate? That's quite a change from a few posts ago...
You are no insider either.. I am no Cerny
It happens. I also make mistakes. I am no Cerny

The XSX is 432 cubic inches³
The 1X is 263 cubic inches.
Theres a reason why the XSX has more space.
My guess is 48 - 52cus @ 1600-1700mhz.
We have to remember the SoC also has a 8core Zen2 which will be putting out some heat too.
Even an SOC with a 8 core zen2 + a 5700xt would need a rather serious cooling system
If designed like this with a huge heatsink and fan, 52,56cus @ 1600-1800mhs is possible.
Makes you wonder why this design has not be done before.

well that sounds good, please let us know if the poster has any sort of credentials to know this stuff. Thanks!Hence the kind veiled suggestion to the poster in question to talk a bit to the team or maybe reconsider the insidur sounding approach.

That's interesting but wouldn't it mean a motherboard less than 6 inches square? I can't see how all components could fit looking at the One X motherboard?
Could it be split into two boards?

Insiders are getting real quiet now that mods are asking them about infoOk insiders let me toss out another term, feel free to give a yay or nay
Chiplets
Series X is probably going to be one of the better un- boxing experiences we have.
Let's go back to what we actually know - no rumors here:
Xbox Series X:
- Has a NAVI 2.0 based GPU (HW RT), double the XBox One X performance;
PlayStation 5:
- Has a NAVI 2.0 based GPU (HW RT), unknown performance;
That's about it.
Haha, Memory on Substrate. Super complex chip using 3D stacking. HBM? Maybe or maybe not? Who knows)
For a mass produced console?holy crap. binned hbm2 rumors might be true
He has been verified by zhugeex who is also a very very realiable source for leaks a while backcan this guy be trusted?

its crazy to think 12 tflops of rdna right?
Why. Oh God I wonder WHY IS THATInsiders are getting real quiet now that mods are asking them about info

They do that every generation.Forget about HBM2 or RERAM. Not happening.
Doesn't matter. Sony is going to clap real fucking loud with their specs. They will match the sexbox and exceed them with what they got cooking up with regards to the SSD

def more trusted than any of the insiders here. This klee (really name Kelly rickards) worked at gamefan magazine in the mid to late 90s then left there to work at EGM magazine, until 2004.
But he says he has kept in touch with his contacts in the industry.
I do wonder how trusted a magazine writer who left the industry 15yrs ago, can be.
His source who he claims is a dev must really like him to give him info that he then passes onto a Internet forum, seems a bit fishy, but you never know, his info could be genuine.

klees info and matt have been good so far. Both of em hinted that scarellet info for the game awards. Matt confirmed hw ray tracing for bothWell, that's setting the bar extremely low.
None of the "insiders" here have been vetted.

Matt said he believes Scarlett is stronger too. He said he didn't really know but he'd probably bet on MS having the strongest console.klees info and matt have been good so far. Both of em hinted that scarellet info for the game awards. Matt confirmed hw ray tracing for both
