It's really simple. MS will make a version of the game that uses the feature of the new console such as Ray tracing, VRS, stronger CPU and GPU, while they will make a version of the game that doesn't have VRS, Ray tracing, higher frame rates and lower resolution and textures.

So, they will make two AAA games both very optimised and fully taking advantage of the HW at hand in this potentially gameplay altering ways... so two full separate games, heck maybe using two different studios... sounds realistic . One of the two games would actually be an XSX exclusive though .

Interesting you quote for XSX a feature like VRS... also how there is no answer about CPU differences between XSX and Xbox One.
