Flashless at the Golden Globes
Its this leak from April. Hmgqq, a known ms insider, confirmed it recently.XSX one? Is there a link you can provide for that by chance?
Otherwise, the main issue I have with your idea here is that a lot of other people who've estimated the chip's size put it at around 405mm2 and are going with 56CUs; any extra CUs would be tuned for ray-tracing (they have confirmed hardware-based ray-tracing and most here are assuming it'll be on the APU given that). I don't think 405mm2 is big enough for 64-70CUs AND units dedicated for ray-tracing AND all the other parts of the APU unless they severely scale back on, say, CPU L3$ to some ridiculously low 4MB amount.
That's why they'd need higher than 1450MHz for the GPU clock. I'd like to be proven wrong and they actually do have enough there for 64 or so CUs plus the ray-tracing and everything else for the APU, but you're the first (and only) person I've seen arriving to that number. Everyone else I've seen kind of lines it up with 60CUs and 4 disabled.

Reddit Anaconda dev kit (Dante) leak.
DANTE ( XDK ) CPU: Custom AMD Zen 2 8C/16T @ 3.2GHz GPU: Custom AMD Navi @ 1475MHz MEMORY: 48GB GDDR6 @ 672GB/s STORAGE: SSD 4TB NVMe @ 3GB/s - 2x more memory and 2x faster bandwidth than XBX. - Navi has 64 CUs with same tflops as GCN that would mean almost exactly 12 Tflops (~12.095), again...
You don't need dedicated CUs for ray tracing. Amd patents show that the ray tracing hardware is built into the Texture mapping units which are part of each CU already. People like proelite have looked at nvidia's rt cores and have come up with 10% extra space needed for rt hardware in each cu.
Its possible that ms fucked up and went with a full 70mm2 cpu while Sony went with a cut down 40mm2 cou and used the space for extra CUs. But i don't think ms engineers are that stupid.
