I still believe in 12.3 TFlops PS5 with 16GB HBM2 + 8 DDR4 (6 OS / 2 SSD Cache) and an Ultra-fast SSG-SSD (CPU-GPU) for U$499 with U$100 lost by unit.
- PS5 will be the showcase of Samsung's HBM2 memories.
- The ultra-fast SSD is necessary because CPU and GPU will stream data directly from it simultaneously.
- Sony can reduce the CPU clock because part of the load will be handled directly by GPU.
- HBM2 is expensive but has a huge advantage on space and energy consumption (which allowed Sony to push more on GPU clock), also has better performance.
- Less CUs, higher Clock, Sony's approach to getting a cheaper GPU with high teraflops count.
Just a dream! I'm not pretending to be a fake insider, please... it's just what I believe, I'm a man of faith!

Now let me back for what I was doing..
