Next-gen Racing Graphics Face-off | (Next-gen means current-gen)

Tried it both on and off. No difference. The quality of settings doesn’t matter. Low/high/ultra.

It’s a 240hz OLED. Thats why I tried limiting frames in the first place.
Could be an issue with the high refresh rate conflicting with something? Maybe try an old 60hz monitor, limit to 60 fps and work your way up from there i guess

It very well could be. Nothing that forza support has fixed it either. I will say, I did not have any issues until the last couple updates. It was running super smooth back in October when I built my system. Same monitor and everything.

The fact that essentially an indie game made by 30 people can match or even beat these 2 massive AAA game with crazy budgets is both amazing and embarassing at the same time.
Corsa EVO is rough. Like proper rough with meager amount of content and almost non-existent amount of working content.

Kunos are great bunch of devs (not a fan of monoclass in Compet but AC1 is still kicking thanks to mods) but even for usual Steam EA EVO is quite barebones tech demo.

That's why it's called early access

In current state (and I bought it just to support my main PC sim providers) this access is so early, it's like a sirloin steak when the chef gives you a living breathing cow, very rough cutting diagram and a knife.

Breaking up the Forza/GT/AC thread series here: Rennsport is coming to consoles (PS5 and Xbox.)

For those who don't know, Rennsport is a UE5 racer from Teyon (wild day they're having today, they also announced the Robocop DLC, although this is signed to them rather than made by them) with realistic racing play based on the rFactor race simulation system and an expansive content portfolio for customization and racing league structure (with a lot of GAAS to it, but some of the pay systems it used in early access will change leading up to the relaunch in the console release supposedly?) This new version will offer cross-play across all platforms and some improvements in graphics, simulation, feature set, etc. The game has struggled in early access, we'll see how this new version turns out.

Thanks for this, just had a few laps for the first time on PC, I have to say I am very impressed. The grip on the cars and the general presentation is very nice even for EA.

Ill be playing this as a casual/racer lover. Been looking for something on PC similar to GT7 and this could be it.

Playing on controller is very nice, hopefully with PS5 support comes dualsense features on pc.

Please be good we need a racing sim on PS5 that challenges PD if you ask me.

GT7 (imho) oudated carlist
1 New track a year if your lucky.
Race events are a joke.
No Endurance like they promised back when the game released.
No modern Race cars have been added.
While the updates are free yes to me most are not good like the last one again this is base on personal reference.

Image quality in Forza Motorsport was always rather shite, TAA was rather soft and DLSS/DLAA was full of ghosting and artefacts. Injecting the DLSS4 transformer model is an incredible upgrade. Even DLAA before was rather underwhelming, now even DLSS performance looks great. This is the game maxed with no RT at 4k and DLSS4. It's just so sharp and clean in motion, excluding the sexy motion blur of course. The only issues I can see are still the odd wire fence flickering, but it's minimal. Anyone on PC I'd recommend giving it another go with DLSS4, it really helps the IQ so much
