As luck would have it, DF got their hands on of these chips and benchmarked it today
IMO the interesting part is at the 17 minute mark. About 10-20% improvement over 7840U. Which isn't exactly THAT great. Especially with the worrisome fact at the end; that this chip is somehow costing DOUBLE the 7840U/Z1E. So yeah, there's no way big manufacturers will jump on this. It's simply not worth the cost of small boost in performance. I would advice anyone on the fence regarding handhelds already out not to hold their breaths for this chip to become a paradigm shift. We will most likely not see it used outside of enthusiast Chinese hardware.
