I much prefer gooning, which is you get very close to nutting, then stop before you spill any nutt.

It's very effective in boosting vitality, in my opinion. More research needs to be done, though.

Serious answer: because a generation of kids were brought up without being taught how to critically analyze information presented to them - not by school, not by their parents. This is the result.

Not having enough research means you shouldn’t bother till there is research. That’s the whole purpose of empirical studies.

Degree in exercise science here. Sorry but he's right on this one, and there's no way he's on steroids with how weak he is, just so ya know. Look up the fiasco a while back with Jeff using fake plates in his videos. He's very cut, but he's not particularly strong in any lift other than curls. He's not on steroids, just extremely low body fat and has maintained his muscle mass well as he burned fat, which is relatively easy if you know what you're doing.

But anyway, jogging is bullshit. All the risks of overuse syndrome, none of the Vo2 max potential improvements of sprinting, and none of the safety of walking. In no way is jogging superior to either just walking or sprinting. If you want speed, power, and muscularity, sprint. If you want to burn fat, walk. Jogging is what we did in the Army every day for miles, and guess what? Most soldiers are rocking pot bellies, they're kind of weak, they're falling apart, and they've got bad knees by 25. Don't care if that sounds mean, I was a soldier in an infantry brigade and I can assure you that's all very true, and literally ALL of the Army's overuse syndrome is caused by too much jogging and not enough focus on form when teaching the push up and sit up. Very quantity over quality in the Army, and it's why every year the med boards in the Army are insanely high, with me being one of them 12 years ago.

For what it's worth, I actually agree with you about most people believing absolute fuckin nonsense like semen retention benefits, carnivore diet, intermittent fasting, carbs are evil bullshit diets, so much absolute stupidity and snake oil pedaled in the fitness industry. But for what it's worth, he's right about jogging, it fuckin sucks.

What poodaddy said. This dude is not alone in the fitness community in recommending that cardio be used sparingly when trying to build muscle (or even on a cut). Jogging, does have some worst of both worlds aspects to it. (It can be good for other things though).

He doesn’t look particularly roided out to me. But who knows.

Agree with your overall point though.
