So I redownloaded Fortnite for my PS5 yesterday. I have not played it since it was released as a concept game before the battle royale was introduced.

I made it the the Eminem boss and took him out. He dropped the key card and the gun that raps to rap god while holding the trigger down.
My question is... is the only way to get that gun by beating the boss each time when playing battle royal? Is there no way to keep it in your inventory just due to the rarity of it? Seems like a great gun, but not worth obtaining everytime I play the game.

No, its a battle royal so you have to get your gear every time.
You only earn skins and cosmetics

It would be cool if they had an offline story type mode where you could save certain items you find.... Such a cool idea for a weapon. I guess tonight I will head over the the Dogg Pounds house and fuck with them.... lol

You will start with nothing at the start of every match.

So many here shit on the game. For myself, it reminds me of playing with action figures mixing and matching from different franchises. I like to play a few rounds of zero build.

Yeah, the original concept of building forts to stop swarms of enemies was what turned me on to it back in the day. Then it morphed to what it is now. Still fun to jump in a play a couple of rounds. You cant argue with the amount of money it has made... that is for sure!

They have a single player mode called Save the World, it costs extra and isn’t very good. But does give out free Vbucks if you put in the time.
