I can agree with that.
Definitely not saying that what the other guy said is right.
It's just that theory of mind can give you a general idea, but there are some things that you need to experience day in day out (so to speak) to fully understand.
The tricky thing with racism is that most of it is extremely subtle and sometimes can be a matter of misinterpetation.
If you look at isolated cases, or instances, it might seem exaggerated looking at it from outside the target demographic, but it becomes apparant when it happens over and over an over.
That's one of the issues with the whole discussion.
Part of users in here are completely focussed on George Floyd rn, when his case is nothing but a trigger that highlights the underlying issue.

The issue is: Are we talking about institutionalized, systematic racism or casual, spontanious, individualistic racism. And also if randomized violance in the streets is a adequate and justifiable answer to all this problems.

I was very frustrated by this news (since the Series X already has a physical console reveal) because I wanted to see PS5 information on my vacation but I would much rather focus on black lives at the moment.

Delusions that PS5 launch games will show a generational leap in visuals, despite the mid gen refresh. In other words, if youre expecting visuals better than Death Stranding at 4K/60, you'll be disappointed.

When the PS4 launched we had Killzone ShadowFall which showed a generational leap in visuals.
I don't see why launch titles have to look like last gen games.
UE5 will release end of 2021.
Games developed with UE5 will arrive end of 2022/2023 at the earliest.
We are talking about LAUNCH games here.

You missed my point. The leap from PS4 to PS5 will be there. However, we don't care about base PS4. PS4 Pro and XB1X are the bar. There wont be a big leap from Pro to 5 with launch games.

Pro is just PS4 games with increased resolution and little else. Launch titles that are designed to take advantage of the PS5s hardware will show a generational leap.
Sony will have their event soon so we will see what happens.

Killzone Shadowfall looked like nothing else on the market, and so did Ryse on the Xbox's side.
Infamous Second Son also came soon after, and plenty of visually impressive games were present at launch events.

Well I'm expecting at least one game do this close to or at launch.
not really, its super empty, no NPC, no trees, nothing much going on there. corridor and narrow design.
If we would see something like GTA V then it would be great, but do you really want to play a game like that where everything is so empty? No NPCs? No Life? only similar textres? No trees etc.?

Again, we compared these games with PS3 and 360 games. PS5 and Series X games will be compared with One X and Pro games. Will those launch games really pop next to TLOU2 and GoT?
The only exception to this is if Sony shows off the SSD working with real games and not tech demos. But I really don't expect that until summer 2021.

yeah. Just look at RDR2 In 4K on Xbox One X. It’s looks crazy.
even the ue5 demo doesn’t look that much better, I mean it’s only 1440p, not even native 4K. The demo looked blurry on my 77 inch tv.
Of course on a small iPhone screen you won’t see it. But watch the demo on A huge tv and you will notice it easily.

The tech demo took a couple dozen people six months, while Sony has teams of hundreds that have been working on PS5 for years.
Like it happened with the UE4 tech demo, there's no reason to believe games won't outshine it by launch.

1440p 30fps, no AI onscreen. That means those numbers will go do once AI and real gameplay is added, more calculations. Or the demo's fidelity will be decreased.

From what I understood, the demo pushed much more than what'll be needed.
UE5 is also still in development and will be designed with PS5 in mind.

Then it's a bit weird to use the resolution and framerate as a counter to the visual quality which is a league above current-gen.
And Sony can always opt for 4k CB, if they want to push resolution while saving power.

The visual quality means little because we're not looking at an actual game at all. It's a tech demo with no UI or combat running at barebones resolutions standards and framerates for the X1X, much less the PS5 or XSX. They'll definitely drop a lot of those features to hit the magic 4k or even CB 4k. It's just what consoles developers do. Not just that, a shift is occurring where framerate seems to be just as important, so 60fps could be targeted far more, so it'll drop even further.
