PowerWash Simulator 2 announced for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC

I'm good. First was a cute idea that ended up landing on a hit out of kind of a viral fascination with power washing that seemed to line up with the game's release. That fascination seems to have largely wanted, so I don't see this one doing well, though I hope for the best for them. Maybe try a new game loop and idea for the next project, as I don't think you can juice this kind of thing too long.

First was okay. Not sure if it was optimized well for consoles. I was looking at hdd storage for saves, and PW Sim was hovering around 700MB. Not sure why a save file is almost 1Gig

Got it on PS+ and it’s good fun for a little while. I can’t see the need for a full blown new game but if they can sell it more power to them. As many others have said this could have been DLC of which there is already many packs or a patch.

No one shall be brought before our LORD David Bowie without the true and secret knowledge of the Photoshop. For in that time, so shall He appear.
Yeah, looks like more of the same. Wake me up when there’s VR support.

What time is it?
Meh, the cleaning physics looks about the same.

This is the days gone remastered of sequels.

Yeah, I kind of understand why they wouldn't implement a system that encourages you to clean from thee top down but I was little disappointed with how much the original felt more like a magic eraser rather than a power wash simulator. I still cleared every level in the base game as it is oddly satisfying. That said, never again.

This seems like it could have been more paid DLC packs, but I guess they figured it's better for their bottom-line to drop a $30 sequel ( which will naturally then get its own series of add-ons).

The first game is so cathartic. I played it first on game pass then I bought a copy to support the dev. I'm not sure I'd buy a sequel.

No Switch/2? Come on. It would have been perfect for that.

FuturLab previously told Eurogamer: "We do plan to release on Switch 2, but will share more on that when we are ready."

FutureLab has now told Eurogamer the statement it sent was inaccurate, and provided one with updated wording: "Whilst we would like to release on Switch 2, there are no current firm plans. We have no timeframe or news there."

It's quite apparent there are many recent announcements that will be coming to Switch 2 as well, but they aren't allowed to say anything until after April 2.

Surprisingly addictive!

I need to steer clear as it just encourages the ‘why don’t you power wash the patio for real?’ comments from the wife.
