Chernivtsi and Northern Bukovina were Romanian lands until 1944. The demographics changed a lot since then, but there is an important Romanian population in the region and the cultural ties are still strong. This was also one of the hotspots of Ukraine's idiotic policies against minorities. In a partition of Ukraine, giving the region back to Romania is in the top 3 most obvious scenarios.

Vinnitsya has no historical or demographic links to Romania. It's a poor region with few natural resources. There is no scenario in which Romania would annex that (or maybe one in which they give it back to Kiev 24 hours later). It would tank the Romanian economy and add 1.5 million angry and confused Ukrainians to its population.

What Romania actually wants, and would be very useful indeed, is the Budjak, or Southern Bessarabia. It's the region below Moldova in Medvedev's map. It had a similar historical trajectory to Chernivtsi, except the Romanian/Moldovan minority is much bigger. It has a nice long Black Sea coastline, it has land connections to Odessa, it's right next to the big NATO bases in Romania. The nearby NATO base in Dobruja is currently being transformed into a Ramstein-style military city.
So there's no way Russia would give the Budjak to Romania, hence Vinnitsya acting as a territory swap and a very obvious Trojan horse. Should the partition ever happen like that, Romania incorporating Vinnitsya would be disastrous - and a refusal would be a diplomatic and propaganda disaster.

Now Poland has pretty much only 48 F-16. Su-22 are allowed to fly conditionally till 2025 (that's why we are buying FA-50 with so short delivery time) and there is no modern weapons for them. Mig-29s are in so bad shape that pilots refused to fly them. We also ordered 32 F-35.

In terms of tanks Poland has currently 250 Lepoards. T-72 all were send to ukraine, all of PT-91 also probably were send (at least ones that were in usable condition). There is lot's of tanks ordered (including older Abrams and not modified K2 that are ordered as immediate replacement for T-72 and PT-91).

The whole problem with any of this is any NATO members with designs on the territory of other European countries except for Russia, would very quickly find themselves out of NATO if they tried to take any of them. And Romania absolutely do not want to be out of NATO.

Fortunately, Poland is not alone. Not this time.
For example, just yesterday the USA sent 6 F-22 to 32nd Tactical Air Base in Lask.

I mean, the UN is toothless by design. And it has to be, otherwise few would bother signing up to it. So at least it does some good.

In conflicts it does pretty much nothing other than refugee support (and often manages to fuck that up in some way too). And it can only exert pressure on small countries committing atrocities, and even then, big countries with armed forces to match have to come in and do the dirty work. For a prime example of UN failure, look at Somalia. They've been there how many years now? And they are still stuck in what is essentially a few streets in the capital.

No need to muddy the waters. If this is accurate than it absolutely needs investigating, but that doesn't somehow negate the thousands of war crimes that Russia has committed and continues to commit.
