Regarding the pipeline, after reading a lot and here are my thoughts on it:
1) Ruzzia most likely did it to create trust issues
2) There is only 1 functional pipeline that goes through Ukraine
3) Ukraine does not have submarines on the baltic sea for this
4) Ruzzia has submarines there
5) Ruzzia can say that the last pipeline is a valid target and try to blackmail
6) It makes no sense for Ukraine to do this since they have good faith (and need it) to keep getting equipment
7) Putler is old and maybe going insane, thus was a stupid order without any reasonable thought on it
8) Fuck Putler
9) Fuck him again just in case
10) Was just an accident (unlikely since it was both)

Gazprom has said it intends to impose sanctions on Ukrainian Naftogaz as a retaliatory measure for a new lawsuit filed in international arbitration.
In fact, this is an ultimatum. Moscow is demanding that Kyiv abandon the trial, threatening to cut off all gas supplies to Europe in case of refusal. " Gazprom considers the filing of Naftogaz Ukrainy's appeal as an unfriendly step and a continuation of dishonest behavior ... further attempts by Naftogaz Ukrainy to seek consideration of the dispute in the IAC (International Court of Arbitration - ed.) may lead to the fact that the Russian state authorities there will be every reason to impose a sanctions regime on Naftogaz Ukrainy," the Kremlin company said in a statement.
It is noteworthy that on the eve of the ultimatum, two Russian gas pipelines to Europe were put out of action by explosions, which were extremely successful for the Russian Federation.
The incidents played into the hands of Moscow in its latest round of gas blackmail.
According to the current contract, Gazprom is obliged to pump 40 billion cubic meters per year or 42 million cubic meters per day through the Ukrainian GTS.
The document was concluded on the basis of the "pump or pay" principle, which is not very beneficial for Moscow. This means that even in the event of a decrease or even a stop in pumping, Gazprom is obliged to pay for full transit.

NATO is talking too much , blowing up the gas pipe lines is clearly an escalation from Russia in international water. Basically they now declared war.
To have a successful response :As a start
Blow up the land bridge between Russia and the Ukraine , isolating Russia in the ability to sent troops.
After this a nice test case would be dropping a nice hydrogen bomb, no nuclear stuff yet .

Better to prepare for the worst as Putin is very finicky. Thinking this over rationally is over, it’s time to take worst case scenario’s into account (it always was, but the West is a bit slow)

What am I reading here ? We basically own freedom to the USA here in Europe .. the Allied forces , which includes USA/England and Canada . But people seem to have forgotten that we Europeans needed (we couldn’t do jack shit) so much help in world war 2, I didn’t,my English grandfather , who was a ww2 veteran told me stories while growing up . Our own Dutch government fled to England for example
and on top of this we had help from Russia, but only after Hitler was a problem for them and eventually Italy also sided with the west , but they where basically mini Hitler before .. and now they have a government that is far right again , history repeating ( all the pieces are almost the same as when WW2 started)And btw , The USA wouldn’t commit this act in the first place ..

PS. A hydrogen bomb uses a nuclear fission bomb as the source of x-rays which are focused by a optimized lens to 'compress' and ignite the hydrogen in the fusion part of a hydrogen bomb. You can also put hydrogen in the core of a nuclear bomb to 'boost' it, but that's even more advanced and I highly doubt you're there yet.

I dunno, Soyuz is Cold War tech and seems to be pretty reliable. I don’t think anyone wants to play a game of nuclear Russian roulette. I think there are better odds of Russian leadership not being quite insane enough to do it than their arsenal not working.

Those people are stupid and naïve. There is massive redundancy built into the nuclear triad of both nations. 491 Russian launch systems, between their ICBMs which they have been actively modernizing and actually have a very robust heavy throw capability and SLBMs and intercontinental bomber fleet with stand-off capability.
And the US is still reliant on their 1970s base Minuteman III fleet, albeit slowly updated since retiring their Reagan built MX Peacekeepers. So, it's not like modernization is a question exclusively on the Russian side -- which is why there is such redundancy in targeting. We are heavily reliant on the Trident D5 arm of the triad.

It's about maintenance, not the ability of the technology.
Soyuz is a) used so needs to be maintained and b) has new components for each launch.
Russia's nukes have largely been rotting in silos for decades. They are still a serious threat, but many would likely fail.

And there is a failure rate on all legs of the nuclear triad, Russian and American, and both sides routinely conduct planned testing and beyond that, it's why there is redundancy built in to the strike packages. This is like basic 101 level stuff.
