Sega can make Christmas dreams come true; Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O preview and VF 6 incoming

Out of curiosity, I looked up prices for Virtua Fighter REVO, and it is suspiciously cheap. On CDKeys for example, it is currently £12.29 instead of £15.99, but even at full price it seems off. Is this going to be a game filled with even more microtransactions compared to other fighting games? Are we going to have to buy most characters separate or something? Something seems fishy.

The price is more a reflection of its age.this is based off the ps4 version, that was a decade after 5 debuted.

One of the best fighters but it needed to be a low price.

Nah they want to get people playing VF before VF6 and for once in human history, a publisher has fairly priced an older game. The value for mere 15€ is absolutely insane.

If it is like the PS4 version then you need the DLC to customize, use more than the two default outfits, and access alternative soundtracks. You get all the characters and modes as the fully featured version though.

Thanks for the replies, I didn't realise it was based on an older game being re-released before the actual next full instalment. Feels weird even at that, not being ripped off.

I also don't remember a PS4 version at all. I can only remember a Virtua Tennis game around that time that ws also on the Vita. Can't really go wrong for just over £12, so I'll get it when it's out.

Can we please have separate threads for Revo and VF6

Sick of seeing this thread bumped for yet another update to VF5 that I couldn’t give two shits about

Thanks
