Get a Bambu. Creality's are junk.

I have had them both and will never go back. I have a coworker whom is a huge Creality fan boy that rushes out to buy the latest printer every couple of months and they all need lots of work, or just don't work. Bambu is just 5 minutes of setup and then you're going with nearly zero issues. That is unless you want to learn a lot about how 3d printers work. You will get a lot more experience since you will need to look up every possible issue imaginable and how to fix it with the Creality.

Been printing a decade now and have 4 different kinds of FDM printers.
agreed can't believe how consumer ready this stuff is.
i had less troubles setting up the bambu then my brother scan n go 2d cutter plotter.

the thing that really amazes me is the first layer the f

I know both are Chinese, but the Crealitys don't seem to be phoning home with encrypted data. I don't have access to data or networks with nationally sensitive data, but that's still messed up.

Perhaps I should just go with a Prusa, even if they are more expensive and have fewer features.

There is always a chance it's sending your data back "home" but so far no one has ever proved that it has done so. Creality is the same way with the newer prints from what I heard.

After first setup you're more than able to just disconnect it from the wifi and use a SD card if you wish.

You could go Prusa. Much more cost for slightly less machine, but they are good.
