I don't understand the point of this show. The original series was great and the story is about Spartacus, not Ashur.

The Roman setting makes the show interesting, not Spartacus or anybody.

Eh, I disagree. The story of Spartacus is unique and interesting. His story is truly inspiring and emotionally impactful. There is a reason why we still know the name of Spartacus for over a millennium. Otherwise, it's just another show about gladiators in the setting of the Roman Empire.

This is set after Crixus dies, but there’s a chance they could undo it.
Ashur would fuck any one and any THING if it A. gave him an edge and B. saves his own skin.

Looking forward to it, just don't like how it's an alternate universe thing. I am sure it'll be fine and enjoable though. The originals where really good, even the prequel and change of main character. But to bring back a dead character? odd choice.
Those about to die was decent too for what it was, just made me want more Spartacus though.
